About

Hello friends, my name is Nichola and I live in Oxted with my partner, children and variety of pets including our lovely dog.

I have always loved animals and when I was 18 years old, I went to live on a farm where I helped take care of the cows, sheep, chickens and farm pets, a cat and two Border Collies.

Winston absolutely ADORES Nichola, she has been nothing but amazing with him since he was a pup. Top knowledge & experience as well as such a great feel for dogs - they just all love her.
Would not want to give Winston to anyone else.

Q&As

I have always loved animals. I think this stems from not being allowed any whilst growing up, they intrigued me and as soon as I was old enough to get my own pet, I did. I love the fact that no day is different and I get to spend most of my day outdoors in beautiful landscapes and fresh air.

I love the different personalities that I meet and enjoy helping them thrive and stay happy and healthy.

I worked in animal care for many years and due to a change in circumstances I moved to London and joined the police. I was hoping to work in the dog section, but when I started a family I realised just how stressful my life was trying to balance being a mum, being a partner and a full time police officer. After my maternity leave I took a career break and realised that I was perfectly qualified and experienced to start my own business in animal care. I would be working in a role that I loved and had passion for and I feel very strongly about ensuring each and every pet gets the very best care that is individual to them.

I am qualified and have over 20 years experience in professional animal care. I am passionate about my work and have a genuine love for animals. For me this is not just about starting a business to earn money. It is about meeting animals and their owners, working out how I can best assist them and then providing a 5 star service which is individual to their needs.

I have worked with many dogs with behaviour problems and enjoy the challenge of working with their owners to modify the behaviour using only positive, reward based methods.

I am reliable and trustworthy. The people that known me jokingly call me an animal whisperer because animals love me and I this is because I love them.
I am enhanced DBS checked, fully insured and hold relevant qualifications.

Services

This is a group dog walk in fields, woodlands and parks away from busy roads. The walk is one hour long from the time we reach our walking destination. We will collect and drop off your pet at their home address and ensure that muddy paws and fur are clean and dry. We have a 4 dogs per walker policy and always pick up the poop after each dog.

£11 per one hour walk and £7 for an additional dog from the same family / address.

Not all dogs should or can walk for an hour. This walk is therefore tailored to meet your needs. Do you have a puppy who should only have a short walk? An elderly dog or one with mobility issues? Do you have a dog that needs a 2 hour walk? You choose the length of the walk and your dog(s) will be walked by themselves for the required duration. We walk in fields, woodlands and parks and we can even do some walking in towns and busier areas if your dog needs to get used to this kind of environment. This walk allows you to choose exactly what you want for your dog(s).

£11 for a 30 minute walk and £5 for each extra thirty minute period. Additional dogs will be £7 for the duration of the walk.

Out for the day or going away? We will visit your house and take care of your pet's needs. We will feed, ensure their is fresh water, clean litter trays, cages and hutches, check temperature and humidity in specialist environments, administer medication if necessary and ensure that there are lots of cuddles provided to those pets that want them.

If you have plants that need watering we will do this too. We can open and close curtains, turn on lights and place your mail or parcels in a location away from the letter box to ensure home security and make it look like the house isn't empty.

£12 for a 20 minute home visit or £18 for two visits.

If you would like a longer visit or need a longer visit to ensure multiple pets receive the necessary care, you can buy bundles of ten extra minutes for just £2 per bundle.

Puppies should not be left for more than 2 hours at a time yet they are too young to go into daycare.
We will visit your home whilst you are out and provide your puppy with toilet breaks, feeding if necessary, playtime and cuddles. You can choose either a 30 minute visit or a one hour visit. The one hour visit will also include a short walk.

£10 per 30 minute visit
