I went here because I needed my fix for a Rhode Island grinder (sub). Got the broccoli rabe and provolone on a hard roll. Amazing . Also took down an Italian grinder as well. While I usually hit Federal Hill for my Italian fix, I gave this guy a try because he advertises locally and I could save some time. It paid off. He sponsors a few little league and babe Ruth teams as well. The woman taking my order was great. The food was fresh, came out fast, and it was reasonably priced. We recently ordered for an event and we couldn't be happier. The lemon chicken with artichokes and sun dried tomatoes was delicious. Also delicious was the sausage. potatoes and peppers. I've been back a couple times and just love this place. Literally the best broccoli rabe you'll ever have. So, so good. Staff is always friendly, too, which is unfortunately rare.

The food is so good here it brings a tear to my eye  the sun-dried tomatoes are so ridiculous they have so much flavor they are just incredible. I ordered a sandwich and I am so excited to try it! Ordered my food, the owner looked me in the eyes the whole time. Gave me my good (exactly how I ordered it), then looked at my debit card to learn my name before handing it back to me. Class act with great food!

THE BEST steak and cheese sub in the country. When Pauly answers the phone, takes my order, and says "I'm going to go make this right now". ..I get butterflies. If you look at the cross section of the sandwich, it's like Davinci himself made the it. Each bite is pure bliss. I've honestly never been so enamored by food before....but this is something special. I'm sorry I havent commented sooner. They r like family.to me . they treat each customer with respect... it can be busy at lunch. . so I go earlier. An original family buisness deserves respect....not to mention the food.!! Top notch quatity... I couldn't think of a better deli in. r.i. .The only complaint is that Pauley hasnt opened a second location ..but I do understand.yOk. ... so. I voted p.petas #1 meatballs.. and my son also... best soups..catering is on point..Unique Chunky snail salad..!!. everything. Paul is a top notch accredit chef.. it show in every recipe... I think the is probly 40 or so options for lunch daily... not including the sandwiches.... you will literally have to go a hundred times...trust me More...

Happened upon this place while on the road for work and decided to give it a try. First impression: It's located on "Miserable" Spring Avenue, a drawback for sure, given the traffic. And the parking lot is too small. Inside, however, was another story. Although the dining area is very limited, the deli counters are plentiful and the place is bright and colorful. The young woman who waited on me was quite pleasant and efficient. I ordered a small White Italian Tuna. I was impressed to have a choice of bread, hard or soft. I chose hard and the bread was a highlight of the day - crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, with just the right amount of chewiness! The tuna was tasty, but a little too scant for such a bread/roll, making for a slightly dry sandwich. I'd try it again, but ask for it to be wetter. It was a nice balance of tuna, olive oil, black olives, chopped tomato and red onion.Since the holidays were approaching, they had an extensive and very impressive catering menu available. I believe that it might be worth another trip, despite the traffic and lack of parking. More...
