Amazing place for lunch and dinner. I had the full size portion of the spaghetti pie. Oh my goodness!! A huge piece!! Gotta get a cannoli for dessert too. They're the best!!

Best Italian food i've had. I waited 20 minutes outside for a seat and would do it again in a heartbeat. Once we got seated we got drinks quickly and the food came out quickly and spot on. To this day I still think the best fried chicken I've ever had is on their chicken Alfredo. Couldn't recommend them enough if you want an amazing Italian experience. More...

Visited the place right before lunch rush. It definitely gets busy during during lunch even on the weekends. Parking is definitely a pain there is only few spots around back and not a lot of parking on the street. Otherwise place is very small and cozy. If you get the right table you will be able to look over the Thames River and the ferries that go back and from New London. Otherwise as the name suggest they specialize in pasta dishes and all of their pasta is super fresh and made in house. However if pasta is not your jam then you will find something else on the menu. Food was pretty delicious. More...

I wish I could box this place up, put it in my pocket, and take it home with me. I came here two years ago while visiting a friend and made a great pilgrimage back the other day so I could bring my husband and share the delicious. All my hyping for the last two years paid off. It was just as good, if not better than two years ago. They have pasta making down to a science. Our meals came out at the perfect temperature and the fresh pasta was the star of the show. My husband looked at me wide-eyed and terrified when I told him I wished I could fill up a tub with the manicotti and eat my way through it. But I’m pretty sure he felt the same about his, even though he was embarrassed by my weird comment. The garlic bread was buttery, melt in the mouth goodness, with a perfect crunchy texture and they bring enough to feed the five thousand. We ended the meal with the fried cookie dough which was when my husband’s eyes really widened and he probably would’ve filled his own tub with it if he would just admit it. More...

Stopped in with girlfriends for lunch. Busy shop but friendly staff. Food prep smelled wonderful. I ordered the cheese lasagna & a small garden salad with the house dressing. The lasagna comes with garlic bread, both were amazing. The cheese was well placed, the pasta consistency was perfect, the tomato sauce was very tasty. Gave a 4-star because the facility needs some work. The bathrooms weren't clean, the sidewalk/parking lot& building exterior were cluttered with debris, especially under the rear deck. It was very odd. More...

My company recently had a catered event with Paul's Pasta. Not only was their food wonderful, but they were incredibly kind and helpful in making sure the food was ready to go. When I went to go pick up the order, we realized the car I had would not be able to accommodate everything. Without hesitation, they loaded up their own truck with our order and delivered it to our site. Their willingness to help us and provide our employees with amazing meals has solidified them as one of our regular caterers. We look forward to many more events with them. More...

One of the best Italian places that I have ever been too. Homemade pasta cut right in the front window. Nice place, great waitstaff and the food was scrumptious! The location right along the river is awesome. Be aware though as with many of the great places to eat, the wait can be long. They do offer a phone in and take out service. More...

A fantastic family run restaurant where you feel like part of the family. I know that is supposed to be the slogan for that chain place but, come on, really? You may have to wait a bit to get seated but it is always worth it. Fresh-made pasta, fresh made sauces, fresh made everything. Be sure that whoever you are with is having the garlic dressing if you order it. But it is delicious. My recommendation is always the lobster ravioli with alfredo sauce. But you can't go wrong with things like the spaghetti pie either. If you are lucky you will be there on a night when one of the owners is in house. Wonderful people. A true family business. More...

Paul's past shop is a small family owned restaurant that makes their own pasta/noodles. The food is good. The service is wonderful. Fast and friendly service is a standard at Paul's. They have a wide selection of pasta dishes and the pasta is all freshly made by hand. Their consistent, great quality food is a reason I return time after time. Paul's is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat, whether it's an intimate date, or a gathering of friends. They serve wine here as well, which is always a plus. This place is almost always busy so I suggest calling in to see how long the wait is. Even if the wait is long, I garuntee the food is one hundred percent worth the time. I would eat there every day if l
l could.

Very cute little restaurant. I took my fiance here to celebrate his birthday and was pleasantly surprised to find them open when most other restaurants were closed on Sunday for lunch! Street parking was available and we were immediately seated at a table for two. All of the pasta was homemade and there was just about every italian dish you can think of on the menu along with some daily specials. I went with the fettuccine Alfredo and I was stuffed by the time I left although my plate looked like I didn't even make a dent! We had the garlic bread with cheese to start and that was great as well! Would definitely return! More...

This is absolute comfort food with huge portions, great for a date night also because it's right on the river. The desert is delicious too. If you pass on this place you're making a mistake. Best pasta I've ever had, and at a ridiculously reasonable price. The staff is one of the best you could experience - they definitely take care of you. I have fond memories watching them make fresh pasta as a kid while waiting for our table to open up.

I used to eat here when I was in college and for a few years after before moving out of the area many years ago. Came back a few times in the last two years, and Paul's was just as delicious and affordable as I remembered it! A half portion is like a full portion nearly anywhere else, so unless you plan to take home leftovers (also a great idea), stick with a half. Paul's Pasta is a fun experience with above average Italian food. It is located on the bank of the Thames and the tables on the deck offer an excellent view. Definitely be prepared to wait as it is a popular restaurant. I've gone twice. I've had the spaghetti pie, eggplant Parmesan, and breaded chicken Alfredo.
