Describe your creative process.
Before I start any project, I interview the client in depth, regarding what they envision, their marketing goals, audience and competition. I usually add specialized questions for logo development, that help the client view their company in a more creative way.
I then research the company', it's competitors, and target audience,
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Overview of project., competitors, and target audience, brand info if established. Also any pertinent media, links, etc...
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting different clients, getting to know their needs and learning about different markets. I love the creative design process. The research, coming up with excellent design options that showcase the company, exploring new techniques and keeping up with the constant changes in software.
Logo design is my absolute favorite. Coming up with a visual that illustrates the company and it's culture.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a lot more creative adventures working for myself than I do working for a corporation. Less management of other creatives. More hands on with projects. I establish the work environment. Larger range of projects rather than working on one product.
