Having bought a large victorian house in need of updating we needed a builder who would be able to renovate the property. This involved removing/ adding bathrooms, new plumbing, heating and electrics, removal of walls, new sash windows and doors, plastering, tiling, work on the roof/chimneys and a new kitchen
. Paul Mitchell and is team did an excellent job to a very high standard. A challenging project as the house is in a conservation area Paul worked well with the planning officer and building control to meet our deadlines and create a home thats a nice mix of victorian character and the contemporary. With a very good local knowledge he was also able to recommend a local architect for us and help us source thing such as reclaimed floorboards etc. We are now using him to convert a double garage to provide extra living space and remodel the garden area outside.
Would be happy to recommend him for any project.

A 10 year guarantee is issued generally and we are also responsible to repalce or repair any faulty products supplied or fitted.
What do you love most about your job?
We love the variety of work we undertake and the different people we meet and help out all year round.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After qualifying as a plasterer through a day release college course I stayed working for a local construction company for a couple of years but quickly realised I would be happier finding and securing my own work. My father was self empolyed and made my realise that you get out of life what you put in so I really enjoy the freedom of running my own business and being master of my own destiny.
Why should our clients choose you?
We offer a complete multi trade building service covering all aspects of the building trade. On larger projects I myself work closely with our customers and orchestrate the project to suit the their time scale and needs. We have a large work force and an even bigger umbrella of trusted sub contractors to call upon when times are very busy or when certain project dates clash from time to time.
