I worked in the somewhat unusual world of Formula One motor racing between 1990 and 2019. In this time, I learnt a lot about myself and went on many personal journeys. Some relatively minor, some rather life changing. Meeting many influential people, entrepreneurs and leaders during this time, I learnt that everyone, regardless of status, started from similar beginnings.

What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people find their goals and work out how to achieve them. It's great seeing the transition as people grown and blossom
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was made redundant in 2019. For the final years in with my employer I was in a mentoring and coaching role. I took a coaching diploma and the management training bolstered this learning.
The redundancy was a golden opportunity for me to grab something I'm passionate about and make it real.

I am lucky to have met some incredible people over my years in top level motorsport and I've learnt some invaluable life lessons.
I have a relaxed nature. I work logically and methodically to solve problems.
Coaching for Life and Careers
I'm Paul and I created Paul Harris Coaching after my stint working in Formula 1 for nearly 30 years came to an abrupt end last year when I was made redundant.
During my time in Formula One, I had the opportunity to meet many influential people and I learnt, that regardless of status, everyone started from similar beginnings. What drove their path was the difference in really knowing what their goals were and how to achieve them.
As my work and my roles changed over the years, I was offered an opportunity to become a mentor within the company. This enabled me to help younger members of staff be more confident in their abilities - a role that I have carried on since leaving the business and into this new venture.
The redundancy, whilst tough at the time, actually provided the perfect opportunity to grow on this, to offer even more and help people focus on & achieve their life goals.
My unique circumstances and experience have given me the perfect set of tools to be able to help you achieve your career and business dreams.
