Paul Cook

About

Paul is a Certified Teacher of the Royal Schools of Music and was awarded the status with the highest classification of Excellent. He graduated with a first class honours degree in Education and passed the Diploma of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in Vocal Teaching with Distinction. Educated at Chetham's, Paul won an entrance scholarship at seventeen to study at the RNCM and subsequently worked as a session singer at the BBC and with several opera companies at home and abroad which included five years at Scottish Opera. Paul has diplomas in piano teaching, piano performance, pipe organ, singing, music theory and composition. He has completed the Level 1 and 2 courses in the Estill Voice Model. Paul has an outstanding record of success in preparing students for exams and entry to Music College and currently has students studying at Arts Ed, GSA, Italia Conti and Mountview. Paul is the author of the 'Pete the Bee' stories and which are enjoyed by children around the world. In the little free time that he has, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, keeping fit and trading on the London Stock Market.
