Paul is really comforting and not pushy unlike some photographers! We had a grest first meeting looked at his amazing work and decided there and then to book him! Even though he was still trying to insist we slept on it! Like most couples planning a wedding looking for a photograpy is so difficult as you want the best for your special day. By chance a friend mentioned paul. So we checked out his Web site made contact and after our inital chat I had a good feeling. We chose the package with pre wedding shoot. Couldn't recommend this enough it was great way for us all to get to know wach other and helped me feel relaxed and confident. Paul put us both at ease and felt like we had know him a while he made the day fun and this was later reflected in the wonderful pictures of our wedding day. I cant thank paul enough for the wonderful pictures we are both so happy. With them. I loved the way he gave little snippets of some pictures during the editing process just to ease the waiting although was not as long as orher couples have waited after my recent research. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to a good photograph is a culmination of a good eye, lighting and knowing your camera settings, all this has to be done so quickly as some scenarios only happen once.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What do you want out of the session-photoshoot at the end of the day it's all about you guys, your needs, you tell me what you want and I make it happen but with a twist.
What do you love most about your job?
The one thing I love about my job is making friends and welcoming you to my world of photography. We will defiantly become friends through the process of creating beautiful images.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked in a very stressful environment-career for almost 20 years (Not in the photographic industry) . I suddenly lost my best friend my Dad. My Mum & Dad had always supported me through every decision I made and they were a firm believer of "Following you dreams". After a tough few months after my fathers death I suddenly realised I needed a change of career. Photography was something I had always had a passion for and carried out as a serious hobby. It was at this point I joined The Guild of Photographers and took the plunge to go self employed. I cant says its been easy as photographing people and projects is just a small part of my job. However with all this in mind I have never looked back, I have made some truly wonderful friends through my journey and long may it continue.
