New JAMA Study Shows Physician Reviews on the Rise
The Journal of the American Medical Association published a new research study on 2/21/17 titled Website Characteristics and Physicians Reviews on Commercial Physician-Rating Websites. The data shows that physician reviews are on the rise and that in 2016 only 34% of physicians did not have a single online review compared in 73% without a review in 2009. Nearly 60% of patients report that online reviews are important when choosing a physician.

Hunt Regional Medical Center Selects PatientTrak
We are pleased to announce our newest customer – Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, TX! Hunt Regional is using PatientTrak to track surgical patients and provide text messages to family members. Texting messaging family members reduces anxiety and allows them to move throughout the facility knowing they will be provided with periodic status information. Hunt Regional has integrated their EMR with PatientTrak via HL7 to provide scheduling information and eliminate double entry of patient information.
