Kim and Jess are the best! My husband was less than thrilled with having his picture taken, and they put him at ease from the start, he even said he had fun during the engagement session! Not only were they amazing photographers, but they were also so helpful in the wedding planning process. They provided a list of recommended vendors, a day of timeline and much more! The day of the wedding they were unbelievable. They were great to have around during our getting ready time. And then once the wedding started they were everywhere! So many guest commented on how great they were. Not only getting all the important pics, but doing it with a smile and fun! The best part, the pictures! They’re just what I wanted and more! After our first meeting with Jess and Kim we knew immediately we wanted them as our wedding photographers! They presented themselves in a fun yet professional manner and were really interested in not only our wedding, but also in us as people/couple. They helped us through our entire wedding process!! From giving us suggestions for engagement shoot locations, assisting us with our wedding timeline to giving us photo grouping suggestions. We had an exceptional experience with Kim & Jess. They shot our engagement and wedding photos. From our first consultation to the reveal of the wedding photos they went above and beyond to make us feel special. The reveal was an entire video of our day, they had drinks, snacks, and tissues ready for us to view the first look on our weding. They remembered all the little details that we had discussed in our consultations and side conversations(which I had forgotten about). They drove to Charleston for our wedding and they divided and conquered. Kim went with the groomsmen to capture the details of the day and Jess went with the bridal party. Jess and Kim throughout the day were funny, helpful and most of all kept us calm. Months after the wedding we have multiple guests still compliment on how well the photographer's captured the day. From the moment we sat down with Jess for our initial meeting, we knew their professionalism, organization, energy, and overall willingness to make our day one of the greatest ever were all major factors as to why we chose them as our photographers. They included our engagement photoshoot in our wedding package, and we liked how they used that time to get to know us better (and made the awkward dynamic of being candidly photographed less awkward). As the bride, I was fearful of timeline issues but they both assured me that what they discussed with all of our other vendors made everything ahead of schedule. And if you don't choose the option to have the album binded/made, you're crazy! The quality is superb and more convenient than doing it yourself. If you really want your wedding day to be captured candidly and express every moment of the day through pictures, Party of Two will be your only choice. Working with Jess & Kim for our wedding was amazing! Jess and I went to the same high school, and my husband and I met Kim a few years ago through our mutual friend while attending UNC Charlotte. We knew from following their journey as a photography power couple over the years that Party of Two was the only choice when we were finally in the market for wedding photographers--and they did not disappoint! Where do I begin? How about you have two absolutely down-to-earth individuals that love each other and are very passionate about what they do? ess and Kim were amazing to work with! We loved meeting them for the first time via Skype, as we live in DC. They did a great job despite the distance of being available and helpful.
We quickly found much in common, including wedding venues, making us feel even better about our choice to go with these two!
After our initial phone call and handshake, we received a lovely note and gift card to a favorite brewery of ours up here.
Our engagement session took place on a hot August evening, but despite the weather, Jess and Kim made the night fun, even renting us scooters as part of our shoot in uptown.
The day of our wedding found them on time and prepared, where they did a great job of following our photo list to the letter and wrangling a large crowd quickly, then meeting us at the venue. They kept things fun and light the whole time and captured all the highlights of our day in inventive and tasteful ways!
We were thrilled with the quality of the photographs we received back. I highly recommend working with them, you will not be disappointed.

5 stars means, "Wow, the best ever!" and that is EXACTLY how we feel about Party of Two Photography, and Jess and Kim. Our experience with them for our wedding was beyond compare, from our first consultation to receiving our photos after the wedding. Their process makes it so easy, and yet extremely thorough. They take time to get to know you, your style, and really understand what you want. They guide you through any questions you may have, and they help you to think through things you may not have even considered (hello, family photos!). Let's talk about the actual photographing part... we had multiple people come up to us at the wedding and say, "Holy cow your photographers are working hard!!!" Jess and Kim were everywhere! I mean, they caught so many special moments and special people. We are in love with the photos of our big day that they helped to make possible, and we are so grateful to them for their kindness, support, and expertise as we navigated wedding planning and the day of. If you're looking for photographers who will care about your big day almost as much as you do, Party of Two is who you need. They went above and beyond, on chairs, and even helped me get dressed, haha! :) They do it all!!! I know that we will absolutely use Jess and Kim in the future for any photos we need (maybe maternity pics in a year or so ), and we will certainly keep in touch because they are awesome people all around. Our photos from Jess and Kim were everything we hoped for and more! We worked with them for our engagement photos and wedding.
For the engagement shoot, they had lots of great ideas to help us along, but nothing felt too posed or staged. This was also a good way to get to know their style and how they work before the wedding!
Our wedding photos were amazing! We got a great mix of more traditional photos and candid shots. Our first look pictures were some of our favorites! They captured all the parts of our ceremony and reception without feeling intrusive.
Jess and Kim are very professional. They are great with communication and with answering questions. I appreciated that they were up front about pricing and packages. They also had great questions for us to get to know us as a couple. They got our pictures to us in a reasonable amount of time as well. Highly recommended!
