When I first contacted Don I wasn’t sure what to expect out of a caricature for a wedding but after seeing his work I knew it was something that had to be there. Reaching out and booking him was super easy, and he was very reasonably priced. I couldn’t wait for my wedding day and to get one done. Wedding day came 8-13-22 and when we arrived for our reception people had already gotten there’s done and were beaming and showing them off. We had about 90 people there and he got through everyone who wanted one. He was quick but at the same time took the time to really pay attention to details and they actually looked like us! He made small talk and was super funny, all my guests absolutely loved him and I will definitely be booking him again when we have another event. We booked Don for our back yard wedding and he was the biggest hit! Don was so accommodating, we had to move our wedding out a day for expected hurricane and he was able to work around another party to make it work! We were over the moon, highly highly suggest Don! What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people, entertaining them and their reaction when I present them with their caricature.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Because I did graphics and cartoon illustrations for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, I was asked to draw caricatures for colleagues who left the newspaper when they retired or from the many staff reductions. Later, when a friend asked me to do caricatures for a travel and tourism event, I realized the popularity of live caricatures. I started PARTOONS: Caricatures by Don Landgren Jr. drawing caricatures for children's birthday parties and other private events in 1998.

I set up my easel so your guests can watch as the caricatures are drawn — adding more entertainment as your everyone laughs and get a keepsake from your special day. Plus unlike some caricaturists, I interact with your guests — chatting, joking and getting to know them as I draw their caricature making the experience more personal and enjoyable.

Sign-in boards
Sign-in boards are an alternative to guest books that you can later hang on your wall. They are a great idea for weddings, graduations, B'Mitzvahs, birthday parties and retirement parties or any event where your guests can write a memorable message, words of wisdom or just sign their name.
These are a more finished style combining a digital caricature, title and date/location on a 20” x 30" board. The digital caricature is drawn on an iPad.
