Please think twice before doing any business with Parsons Interior. They take no responsibility for their mistakes, they turn around to find ways to blame the customer and they do not give you proper advise. I was told by an expert at Blinds to Go those blackouts are not achievable with draperies, achievable only by blinds, by this time was too late cancel order at Parsons Interior. Jackie knew I was looking total blackouts for my bedroom and what I got from them was nothing close to blackouts. When I contacted Jackie at Parsons, I made her aware of the issue and she responded by saying “The lining is blackout this is what we gave you”! Also, she does NOT provide a detailed quote, which I had to fight to get, I was not willing to go ahead just with a simple total amount for the package without a breakdown on what I was purchasing, at the end she gave me so many quotes that was confusion and mistakes (she would copy and paste) On the final quote she included the lights installation was free and she blamed me for not noticing her error, at the end I paid the electrician! She even blamed me for all quotes revisions she was doing, I told her you keep making mistakes! I had to show her how to make a simple quote. She even mentioned I was the only one since 2005 asking for a detailed quote. She tries in every to blame the customer. We moved into our home a few years ago... The house is about thirty years old and needed to be renovated and updated. The kitchen was just done by the previous owners but needed a new backsplash. All three bathrooms, needed to up renovated including the powder room on the main floor and the basement in need of a facelift. We did not know what we wanted. This was overwhelming job for me and my husband being a lawyer, wife, and mother of 3 boys with no time on my hands. We needed a professional to help us out... I immediately thought of Parsons Interiors, because I had met Jackie Connolly through a networking event a few years back and knew that one day once I was ready to do any type of decorating and renovations I would be calling her.After our first consultation meeting, Jackie gave us a lot of advice and was able to walk us through all the steps that will be done. Jackie listened to our needs and wish list and then she was able to take care of all the fine details which saved us a lot of time and money.Once the sourcing and colour charts were done, we were able to go to Tiel Plus together to see all of the samples in person. I was very pleased with the selections that Jackie had but together for all the bathrooms. The prices were more reasonable than other retail stores that I looked at in the past on my own.Once that all the renovations were done, we asked Jackie to come back and help us create our dream master bedroom with new bedding and to do some styling for the entire home.Jackie is an absolute pleasure to work with. The selections and decor she recommended were perfect! She made the entire process very easy and a ton of fun! We have lived in our home for over 30 years and we decided that our 1980's home need to be renovated and updated. The project was a new kitchen, laundry room, and flooring (tile & carpet) throughout our 2500 sqft home. We knew what we wanted, however, it was an overwhelming job. We needed professional help.We met Jackie many years ago through friends and knew about her Interior Design company Parsons Interiors. We immediately called her for a consultation. We downsized from a large house to a small condo in Oakville. We had no idea how we were going to be able to keep some of our favourite pieces. Jackie Connolly from Parsons Interiors and her team made the process incredibly easy for us. We had to learn to let go of stuff that was not necessary to bring with us, by decluttering. Jackie took our feelings into consideration and helped us through the process. Jackie really nailed it down pat on what we were looking for. She took her vision with our likes and style in mind and pulled it all together. The quality and workmanship in all of the furniture, especially the custom sofa bed, makes us fell like we really got our money's worth with all the designer's discounts we received. I have had the honor and privilege of working with Parsons Interiors for the past 5 years in making my house a home. Our first endeavor together was reupholstering my living room and front hall furniture. Jackie walked in and had the uncanny ability to know my taste right away. She never imposed her tastes on me but listened to what I had to say. She guided me through every aspect of the decoration. She fought hard to get me the right area carpets for all the rooms. When it came time to do a huge renovation on our main floor I called Jackie right away. She provided the name of a company for me and arranged all the meetings. Jackie dealt with everything for me arranging a private appt. to view appliances, all floor treatments, kitchen cabinets, the list is endless. When I bought my condo, to say it needed a lot of work would have been an understatement. It wasn't painted, there were no blinds or curtains, it needed some minor construction, there was no furniture whatsoever - I was in way over my head, and the amount of work that needed to be done was overwhelming. As a guy in his late twenties with no experience with this kind of thing, I didn't know where I would even start. I came across Jackie's page online and decided to give her a call on a whim. She answered the phone herself, I told her what I needed and simply asked her if she could help me. We met shortly after at the condo so she could see the space and get to know me, the feel I was looking for, and my budget. Over the coming weeks we developed our game plan: we determined our layout, we chose paints, fabrics, designed the furniture, found our materials for a custom brick accent wall - she was incredible. She was never pushy, knew what I wanted, helped me find everything, hired the contractors, the painters, the blinds guy, everyone! She was there at the condo for deliveries and coordination of the professionals while I was at work and couldn't be there. I would communicate with her, and she would communicate with them. She went as far as getting the mattresses, bed sheets, towels, bath mats - literally everything. When I needed her, she was a text, email, or phone call away. Her personal care and attention to detail were not only helpful, they were integral. She saw my vision, and she saw it through to completion. When there was a problem with the delivery, she took care of it. I couldn't be happier with the way the place turned out. We hired Toronto Custom Concepts to do a full renovation of our kitchen and a three piece bathroom. The entire project took 3 months. We took a leap of faith going into this renovation – as most we had probably watched one too many renovation shows on tv and had heard of too many renos gone wrong on the news. From start to finish Dave, Scott, Graham and their entire team guided us with clear and timely communication. We had a basement reno, a bedroom consolidation, and a new laundry room put in. The project was started exactly as advised, and finished exactly (to the week) estimated. In between, from meticulous prep, to work habits of each sub-trade, to the final clean-up, the project was managed perfectly, with no disruption to the family. Reliability factor for TCC was 100%. Our project manager, Scott, was helpful in solving some unforseen issues, efficiently helped us through choices, and took care of everything with a sense of urgency. Our price quote/scope description was detailed enough to use throughout, to monitor the project. To the extent we had change orders, they were reasonably-priced, and all of the accounting was clear. It may have helped that we were not picky clients on selection issues within the pricing allowances, however I can't think of any aspect that had much room for improvement - a great 5-star effort. This time we had the removal of our popcorn ceiling, and had led pot lights and french doors installed. Parson's team came up with sketches,and floor plans while helped us with design layout, and style of furniture. I use Jackie Connolly exclusively for all of my client's staging. The photos and virtual tours look amazing. I have even had people offer to purchase the artwork. Needless to say the home owners are very happy as the photography and marketing combined brings a lot of buyers into their homes and they sell fast!
