Probably the most miserable drivers I have ever come across and the fare was £18 oneway for 3 miles and £12 for the return journey. Works out to be £5 a mile. Bloody expensive!!! More...

The taxi company that officially go the extra mile. I popped in to see my Mum and she was telling me last Friday when we had all that snow she had a call from parnells taxis to say they could not pick her up this morning to take a shopping because they couldn't get into the estate and could they reschedule for the next day. My Mum was fine with this but said to the lady on the phone I have run out of bread. 20 minutes later my Mum gets a call back from the owner of parnells taxis saying that he's asked driver to get her a loaf of bread and walk it into her 30 minutes later a driver knocks on door with two loaves of bread and would not take any money. The funny thing was the next day when the country run out of bread my Mum had more than she could eat. More...

I rang to book a taxi and I was told it was going to be 20 minutes as they were busy. I explained I know it was completely my fault leaving it too late to book a taxi but I had an appointment in 15 minutes at the doctors. An appointment it's taking me 3 weeks to get and I just did not want to miss. The Lady on the phone said be ready outside and I'll try to get one to you as soon as I can between jobs so I can make the appointment. Dear manager,i would just like to essentially make an official complaint although it isn't bad i don't really know what to call it. Maybe a praise? I have spoken twice this evening with one of your phone operatives Tina and i think the service she provided was excellent! Top customer service skills award should sincerely go to her.
