My new husband and I chose Park Kitchen's 36-people-capacity private dining room for our wedding celebration dinner—and we and our guests could not be more pleased! The exquisite delicacies planned by the chef for our dinner—including fresh dayboat albacore and lamb sausage plus refreshing salads—and the superbly matched Oregon pinot noirs and unoaked chardonnay wines and dry cider were a hit with everyone. Private dining director Dylan was *on top of things* and available from our very first email exchange. Even more than that, the guests told me how appreciative they were for the going-the-extra-mile hospitality. For example, I learned from three guests with little babies on their laps that Dylan brought a high chair from his own home for the dinner in order to accommodate them without my asking for it. Some of our guests have worked at the best restaurants in Chicago and they thought the food was amazing and the hospitality here was unrivaled. We'll be back for happy hours and regular dining for sure! Thank you, Park Kitchen. More...

The plates are small, but the food is heavenly. Their menu items are rotating, but we tried a majority of them. Each one was an exquisite culinary delicacy. This place reminds me of some initmate restaurants in Le Marais. More...

Hadn’t been to Park Kitchen in a few years, and was pleasantly surprised to discover it’s even better than it used to be. Every dish was sumptuous, and our waiter deftly arranged our orders so that we ramped up from most modest to the stunning finale. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Fantastic small plates of all kinds. Would recommend ordering a bunch and sharing with a couple people. Waitstaff is knowledgeable and so polite. Very cozy setting. Not a large place, so reservations are a must. Great cocktails as well. More...

I highly recommend the Chef's supper. It's a great way to get a lot of smaller plates. It feels a little like a marathon of food after a while. Portions are small but there will likely be a LOT of plates (4-7). Great atmosphere, nice and quiet, no tipping, and the meat is very thoughtfully sourced. More...

Came here for a company dinner. Had an 8 course meal. The dishes were good, I especially liked the duck sausage. My Shirley Temple was also tasty.
Our server was nice, kept our drinks full. Décor was fairly simple. Solid 4/5 would come back.

Excellent food (my friend said it is hands down the best pork slider he's ever had and he's had many!), delicious & creative drinks, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive waitstaff and easy parking. And the best thing of all? There is a no tipping policy! The prices are a little higher (but not crazy by any means) which allows the employees to be paid a living wage with benefits - wonderful idea that I absolutely support. We will be back soon! More...

Atmosphere: Great. Food: Amazing. The steelhead was so perfectly cooked, and they have great vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Also, the no-tipping policy is pretty cool. You can see into the kitchen and the staff looks relaxed and low-stress, and the service seems very attentive yet low pressure also. We came for a date night during Dining Month and discovered a sweet local spot. Give this place a try! More...

I highly recommend the daily happy hour at the bar from 5-6 pm. Though it's limited to an hour, the expert preparation is the same. Classic cocktails such as the Old Fashioned, Gimlet, and Classic Martini are only $6. A large plate of Kens bread with crackers and Park Kitchen's own divine butter is a must at $6. The beet salad and Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared in generous portions for $11 each. (Note: Park Kitchen is gratuity-free, so take this into consideration when reviewing the menu prices.) I've been to Park Kitchen twice, once for happy hour and another time for dinner. Both experiences were AMAZING. The staff is very attentive (without being overly so) and the food is amazing. I enjoyed that our server explained our dishes and the culinary thought the cooks put into it. The entrees are on the smaller side (which for me isn't necessarily a bad thing), though the trade off with cost can be a little disappointing if you're used to getting more food at $15-ish. The quality of the food/ingredients and the fact that it's one of the few restaurants in Portland that is gratuity free (so the servers receive a decent salary) makes up for it, however. More...

We held a private reception event at Park Kitchen for ~45 people and everyone here made the event feel personal, private, and special! This is the place for a catering event if you wish to share amazing food and Portland's incredible service! We welcomed guests in the large common room and the staff had a punch and served appetizers. Later, we sat down to family style dinner and Park Kitchen catered to some of our dietary restrictions like gluten free and vegetarians. We also had late arrivals and the kitchen kept warm plates to everyone could eat.The mgmt worked with our budget and we had an amazing evening that was affordable and delicious! Don't wait- book your special event with Park Kitchen! More...
