Been bringing my two boys here since they opened. Staff are attentive and true dog lovers. Casper and Rocky gets crazy excited when they hear let’s go to Pappy’s. It was the first time I took my dog there for grooming and despite the fact that I was a little bit concerned about the quality of their work in the first place when I picked up my lovely dog in the afternoon I felt so good for trusting them. My dog looked so pretty and he was not scared at all. I changed 2 groomers before and I don't know what the hell was going on in their shops that whenever I would pick up my dog he was scared a lot and shaked and wouldn't eat for a week. But at this place I think they did a great job as my dog was happy and fine. The lady in the front is really nice and she took me to the back and showed me the whole place and made sure I am fine leaving my dog with them. I highly recommend this place to who ever love their dogs. Some may dispute that there is a strong smell of dogs urine in there. That's is true, but I think where ever we keep dogs in an indoor place for couple of hours, some younger puppies might not be able to hold themselves and how much the staff clean up, the smell won't go away easily. Especially in place with a lot of customers bringing in and taking out their dogs. I understand they might be able to work on this issue but the overall experience for me was satisfactory. More...

The ONLY place that can groom my miniature schnauzer without calling me 15 minutes later to complain that they can't "control" or keep my dog "calm" (ahem. ..petsmart). Burnherdead...I mean Bernadette AKA Bernie ... is filled with the great canine energy of the facility. You can tell by talking with her that she's a genuine happy person and loves what she does. I never rate any place a 5 because there is ALWAYS room for improvement. But a 4 means it passes my scrutiny and I feel comfortable leaving my two beloved canines there. I recently took my 15 year old Schnauzer to the Pappy's in the The Colony. She had not been to a boarder in a very long time! She is blind and somewhat feeble. I was concerned about boarding her but they assured me they had taken care of numerous older dogs tin the past. The people that were there when I dropped her off were so nice and gentle with her and so kind to me!! Every person I met, from the person I spoke to on the phone to the guy that was there when I picked her up, was very nice and professional. I would recommend this facility to everyone! A great place for our dogs to go for a day or for a week! They treat our dogs extremely well and they always come home from both daycare and/or lodging so exhausted that they snore their first night back home with us! This was my first time boarding my very nervous dog and I was very nervous for her. I called a few times to check on her and they were very honest but positive with me telling me she is a little scared but she is eating and enjoying her walks. I got to watch her play on the camera in the day care which helped me relax. I had a great experience my dog was returned to me healthy, clean, and well cared for and the employee there when I picked her up seemed to genuinely enjoy my dog and all the other dogs. We took our Wheaton mix ,Fred to Pappy’s Pet Lodge for the first time for grooming.He was a hot, stinky mess as wire hairs will often be. We have only ever been to Petsmart before. The groomer at Pappy’s ,Julie, did an amazing job. Fred does not like having his face messed with so I’ve always been forgiving of less then perfect face trims. Julie got it done! He looks awesome. I’ve honestly never been happier with a groomer. The price was very reasonable also!We will definitely be back! We love taking our fur baby to Pappy's in The Colony! They are good with him and help with his separation anxiety.Customer service is awesome too! During our most recent visit at the end of May, I forgot to include daily doggy daycare and an exit bath prior to pick. The staff was wonderful by communicating via email during my travel out of town. Pappy's took our dachshund Milo in with no issues. He hasn't had a lot of interaction with other dogs, so being able to watch him on the camera feed was very reassuring. He seemed to enjoy his time there. Pick up was super easy, he seemed happy and not afraid of the staff, and they gave us a report card on his behavior and play. I am so pleased with the service Duke received yesterday. Not only was he extremely handsome but he was happy. He doesn't usually enjoy his bath and hair cut but he was far less traumatised after his first experience at Pappy's spa.
