2. the full service "Dessert Station"
3. house made pastas
4. our charcuterie & artisan cheese display - all charcuterie items are made in-house along with a dozen or so house made pickles
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
An initial email outlines a few opening questions that allows me to begin the design process. After that email communication I setup a phone consult where we discuss exactly what our clients' expectations are and what specific requests they are looking for. We ask questions like:
1. Dietary restrictions and/or allergies
2. Type of service - plated, family-style, or buffet/station
3. Budget overall
4. Beverage menu
5. Particular culture of cuisine they love most or would love to explore
What do you love most about your job?
There is no finality to it. We can always explore new tastes, styles, and textures. Plus, each client of ours allows us to fully customize a menu based on what their food preferences are.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working in high end restaurants for over 20 years I believed it was the perfect time to apply what I have learned and start to build a loyal clientele in the Bay Area.
