Great little b&b, modern and cozy. You can have breakfast in your room which is good because the rooms are so nice you don't want to leave.

This terrific atmospheric small inn with a modern vibe is the perfect spot for a Taos visit. The eight rooms are a delight- each named for a notable Taos woman, the breakfasts are bountiful and delicious, and the welcome from Lauren, the weekend manager, couldn’t have been warmer or more accommodating. Some of the rooms have private outdoor patios or courtyards - all the more to enjoy the brilliant sun, the deep blue sky and the leafy smell of Taos- even mid-November! More...

Good location, staff is wonderful, breakfast in our room, and the room was well appointed. Only reason I didn’t give it a five is they never gave us our robes.

As bed & breakfasts go, this one is unique, but not really my kind of b&b. But, this is Taos, so what did i expect? The bed was large and very comfortable, and the breakfast was good.

From the moment we checked in Shawn greeted us and showed us around giving us the history behind each room and the property. Shaun pointed out where to find everything we needed. He also helped us choose our breakfast which we would need to do for each day that we stayed. The best check in experience that we’ve ever had. The space was just what we hoped for....a romantic getaway. When we needed extra coffee or firewood for the room Shaun took care of that. Being able to use the spa at the El Monte was amazing. So relaxing! Breakfast in our room was a nice treat and the social aspect of having breakfast with the other guests was really enjoyable. Lauren was delightful! It was easy to get downtown and to everywhere we wanted to go. We didn’t want to leave. More...

We were winding up a week in the area and are so glad it was our last stop. it was the ‘cherry on top’ for our trip. Such a tasteful, lovely spot. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, spotless. Attention to detail was unsurpassed. Loved waking up to find the little fireplace lighted to take the chill off the room. More...

So excited to have found this little slice of Taos paradise on the outskirts of the town. My husband and I wanted a little excursion south after a week in Pagosa Springs before we flew out of Durango. Enjoyed the beautiful drive to Taos with snow dusting the mountains and a lovely hike through that same snow on the Divisadero Trail before we checked in. Lauren heard us pull in and came out to greet us with her darling southern drawl. She thoroughly took us through the check in process, including ordering our breakfast, and then showed us our room which was the Modernist. A nice size room with a wood burning fireplace. A super comfy bed with great linens and pillows. The bathroom was wonderful with two generous sinks and great lighting. A small fridge stocked with beverages to enjoy. Also a Keurig with a variety of pods. We walked a short walk into town and then came back to head to dinner at the Love Apple which I can't recommend enough. It was freezing when we left dinner so the wood burning fireplace was such a cozy treat for this Southern California couple. Woke up and waited for our breakfast which I ate in bed and throughly enjoyed as well as my own pot of French Press coffee. A little while later, Lauren knocked on the door to let us know that there were a multitude of hot air balloons outside which I ran out to view. Such an awesome day for that. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer but we will be back next time and build this excursion into our next pilgrimage to Pagosa Springs! More...

Yes this is a B&B. No it does not have air-conditioning. This was a last minute get away for my husband and I so we booked the Diva room for 2 nights. The staff was more than friendly and accommodating. The room did get warm during the day but it has 2 windows a ceiling fan and another portable fan to cool you off at night. I can't wait to come back in the winter and light the fireplace. The bed is comfortable, the shower huge and plenty of closet space. The most enjoyable was the breakfast delivered to your door with French pressed coffee. Delicious each time. We visit Taos pretty regularly so we are familiar with the location. I'm so glad we couldn't get in to our normal hotel. We will be back for sure. Thank you for a wonderful stay. More...

More...
