I ordered a Valentines love box to be delivered..what a mistake that was! It was sent by UPS and the UPS system never showed it was out for delivery. I waited until well after 8 pm to see if by some miracle the food would turn up but no nothing just two very upset and disappointed hungry people. Emma has an excellent website which reinforced the local recommendation I had received. Our venue was unusual, a cider cellar with a marquee attached, the party was in January, also there was no kitchen! Emma was not phased & completely understood what we wanted. Her starters were eye catching & delicious. Her antipasti boards were a table decoration in themselves and Emma managed to source local bresaola for me. The big pans of beef, creamy potatoes and glorious vegetables were part of theatre of the party. Fun to watch and delicious to eat. Emma was well organised and calm, nothing was too much for her. Paisley Flour catered for our wedding a few weeks ago. All the guests commented on how nice the anti pasti displays were and what a good choice of food we had for the main. Emma does take a while to respond to emails, but she doesn't mind being chased. You will be glad you persevered as the quality of the food is worth it. Paisley Flour provided the food for my entire wedding weekend this July. This included a Friday night buffet-style dinner, canapés, the wedding breakfast, dessert stations (including a donut wall! ), evening food and brunch on the Sunday. Emma and her team were FANTASTIC from start to finish; everything from the presentation to the taste to the service was INCREDIBLE. All of our dishes are made with love & attention to detail.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We like to meet all of our clients to discuss menus and their event, we believe it is critical that you meet the people that create your food for your event. This enables us to create a menu designed around you, your guests and your event. Completely personal and designed perfectly for your special occasion.
What do you love most about your job?
We love our job, we love the fact that no event is the same and that every event we cater for is different and all about our client.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We were a guest at an large event in Worcestershire, we thought that the food that we were served was pretty standard and with no flare. We decided to do a bit of research into the catering industry in the area and found there was a gap for something a bit different, we believe we achieve this in our flavours and presentation.
