Absolutely amazing job! Highly recommend these folks! It's crazy because after shopping around and interviewing painter after painter for quotes, Paintzen came along and made an otherwise daunting job SUPER easy and painless. They are a god-send! I live in a luxury high rise building in an affluent area so everytime I called a contractor out for a quote, If and when they showed up, I could tell they were "sizing me up" and bumping up the costs unfairly. That's what I love about Paintzen is they quote unbiasedly based on the job, not where you live! My apt feels brand new, the painters worked efficiently and professionally, arrived ahead of schedule - they covered all of my personal belongings, took off their shoes (without me having to ask) and overall just sweet people. You're missing the boat if you dont use these folks and probably overpaying as well!! I'm using them for my bedroom next- woohoo!! More...

There were some issues that came up, but I'm giving 5 stars because of the way they addressed them.I got a few quotes from other painters in the area and they were the best priced. I was able to schedule the paint appointment pretty quickly. They finished the job in 2 days! Unfortunately, a wall anchor was damaged and the paint on some of the doors ended up sticking. I informed the project manager, Zachary, and he was so nice about it! They eventually came back and fixed everything!!! I really appreciated their customer service. More...

Wow, just wow. A month ago, I found out about Paintzen on here and immediately got in touch with a manager by the name of Ivan who was such a great pleasure to work with. I had a color in mind for my repainting project, and he was able to send 3 color samples before I selected the right one.Painters came over on a Saturday, and got the job done in less than 3 hours. I was looking for someone to paint my one-bedroom apartment in Sunnyside, Queens. Bounced around and found Paintzen here on Yelp. Very, very happy I did.Very helpful and easy to get a quote (via email and calls). Very quick to start and finish the job. They take care of the paint and will FedEx large samples for you to look at on your walls.The painters themselves were prompt, neat and excellent. I had a great experience with Paintzen and my painter Max who did a great job painting my bedroom!The quote process was easy and straight forward and I found the pricing to be competitive and truly all inclusive. I live in an old building with many layers of paint and therefore I expected to have some imperfections in the edges, etc. However, the results were better than I expected and I think the final product is great!My painter Max was also on time and kept me updated on his progress as he worked.The job went quicker than I would have expected and having him do all the prep and cleanup was absolutely worth it.I would definitely recommend Max and Paintzen! OBSESSED. Found them on an old One Kings Lane post because while I love painting, I simply don't have time anymore for all the prep (which is 85% of a great result). Worked with Kelsey at first with sales, then Dikua as my project manager, and lastly Luis my painter. All were incredibly attentive, respectful, thorough and on top of their shit. Kelsey was flexible with my back and forth about what I wanted done, issuing multiple proposals as needed, Dikua was unbelievably responsive when I asked that the paint be dropped off prior to the job at a specific time and for the delivery person to call - as well as all project status follow up and then last but CERTAINLY NOT LEAST - Luis!! He came on the earlier side of the window I requested, super respectful of my space, leaving it absolutely spotless (black paint y'all - slow clap) and the paint job is beautiful!! I legitimately teared up when I got home and saw the completed work. It's beyond beautiful!! I am going to hire Paintzen (and I really really want Luis again!) to paint my bar and foyer area. I hired Paintzen several times on various type of projects (painting or wallpaper). Last time was to install fabric wallpaper (suede wallpaper that had been paper backed to be treated as wallpaper). The installation also required to cut patterns out of 2 different types of suede papers whilst making sure each cut coincides perfectly with seamless connections. Paintzen had sent me a custom quote and arranged COI prior to the job. I could book the job literally 24h before. Max was on time, covered/moved items around and did a superb job in a very quick manner. For fewer custom jobs their website is so easy to use to get an instant quote and book job. They are not the cheapest but they are super professional and work fast. More...

I hired Paintzen to paint my second floor hallway/ stairway. This is my 3rd time using them and they do a very good job for a very fair price. The painter that Paintzen sent out (Lech) was absolutely the best painter I have ever used and I've used many over the years. Most of the painters I hired in the past have been pretty good but Lech is by far the most detail oriented and meticulous painter I have ever seen. His attention to detail is second to none. Lech is easy going, professional, always leaves the space broom clean and punctual. If you hire Paintzen ( and you should) to paint your house they send out quality painters but if you can request Lech you should. In my previous two experiences with Paintzen the painters they sent out were were very good but have to mention Lech here because he goes above and beyond. Had Paintzen do a complete paint job of our brand new apartment, including painting our ugly wood cabinets a cute, modern blue AND wallpapering two walls. Everything was imbecile from start to finish. Exceptional communication throughout, I loved the ease of online booking/communications (so convenient for a working person), the painters were on-time and polite (and they finished a day early!), and the paint job is wonderful. Paintzen was a great experience. I have nothing but positive things to say about their customer service. It was my first time choosing colors for an apartment and they were very helpful. I had specific ideas of what I wanted and many choices and they helped lead me in the right direction. The Painters were so polite and professional. They tidied up everything at the end of the day. I never leave reviews, but my experience with Paintzen was awesome from start to finish.  Their quote was one third of the cost of other painters I was referred to, they were communicative through the booking and lead up to the job.  My painter, Mike was super friendly and skilled.  He was on time, explained everything he was doing and checked in to make sure I was happy with the progress.  A foreman came to check on the job and was also friendly and informative.  The job finished more quickly than I anticipated and my son's room looks beautiful!I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a seamless and quality customer experience! I had the best experience with Paintzen. They were easy to communicate with during the quote process. I had two small projects to hang wall paper on accent walls in two separate rooms and they gave us a fair quote. They were timely and did a stellar job! I was worried about the installation because the wallpaper prints I chose had complicated patterns, but their attention to detail and making sure the patterns lined up was excellent, it looks seamless! They also went above and beyond helping me in a pinch. As a new home owner I unfortunately mis-measured my wall and did not order enough wallpaper to completely cover it. I ordered more wallpaper and worked with their team to have someone come back onsite to finish the job. I really appreciated them coming back to help me out even though it was my error in the first place. Paintzen was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Everyone was incredibly professional, Kelsey was an awesome facilitator to the project and my account managers Thalia and Dikua stayed on top of any problems that arose during the process (there were a few snafu's involving paint color but the team handled it really well) the PAINTING CREW WAS AWESOME TOO! Nathan, the head of the project was fun and engaging to be around. He was helpful and even placed an air conditioner for my grandmother that no one asked him for! He painted everything I asked him to and rolled with the punches when my REALLY PICKY grandmother pointed out super small details. He got EVERY small detail and her home looks brand new! More...

I had the worst time trying to find a painter to paint my bedroom.  Several came to take a look and said they'd get back to me and never did!  I was coming to terms with having to paint myself, when I found Paintzen.  Talk about easy!  I gave them the information online, and a rep got back to me right away.  He asked me some additional questions, and poof!  Scheduled painters right then and there.  Later that day, I have to reschedule, and that was super easy as well.  Now the painters.  They were great!  They did a good job, were neat and finished that room in one day!  They had to cover a very dark teal with a light gray and did it perfectly.  The trim work looks great as well.  I highly recommend Paintzen for all your painting needs.  They really took the hassle out of finding a painter.  I will use them for any painting needs in the future for sure!
