I went with family, it was their first time and they had a blast! We were late but Shawna the amazing instructor caught us up. She was extremely patient with us, which is what you would hope for in a teacher. I'm so happy with my art piece I will be returning! More...

What a fun place! The team had our wood planks set on easels with paint and brushes ready to go. No artistic talent? Don't worry! The staff is very helpful and all 3 of us took home a cute Snowman. Oh, and You can purchase beverages if you need a little more courage. But truly, it's a great couple hours. I returned for a second painting the same week! More...

Such a fun and upbeat atmosphere! I've been dying to paint and decided to finally try and do this. All the staff were friendly and helpful when the original painting I wanted to do, the instructor had to cancel due to not having enough people sign up that day, however they contacted me and rescheduled me but doing a different painting! I ended up going by myself as my friend couldn't attend but 1) I didn't want to lose my spot 2) I had fun either way making small talk with the other painters around me. It's amazing to see everyone's interpretations of the painting. More...

Came here for a private event (friend's birthday celebration) and our party was given a private room. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with all of the paintings they offer us "artists" to paint. Our party chose the dreamcatcher and we had a blast with this one! Our artist was Elizabeth and she definitely made it a fun night! She had us bopping along to all kinds of music while we painted. This is a BYOE place: food, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), cups, plates etc. So make sure you pack accordingly and make sure to let go and have fun! More...

When I showed up to check in they couldn't find my name anywhere on the list. I pulled up the email confirmation to show them I had paid. . it turns out I showed up a day early. I thought I had purchased tickets for the Friday night class but it was actually for Saturday. They were incredibly nice and let us stay for the class that night. The instructor was awesome and we had a great time! They were very welcoming and didn't make us feel like a burden for showing up on the wrong day. More...

Painting...with a twist in Pembroke Pines. (Spoiler: The twist is that this class is BYOB. Well, any drink plus snacks!)Located right next to the Regal Cinema in the Westfork Plaza. I came here for a friend's birthday for a different kind of party. Its BYOB so come prepared, especially if you aren't the best artist like me.If you don't have that artistic gene, don't fret! The instructors break it down step by step while allowing you to create your own version of the painting they have for the night. And if that's not enough, take a sip of any adult beverage you choose to bring. Trust me, it helps. The whole night isn't just about painting, they let us take a break for a little game, both for the enjoyment of the group and to allow our first layer of paint to dry. At the end of the night, you bond with old friends, possibly make new friends and leave with a painting plus new skills to make more art!Painting with a Twist is one of my favorite things to do for date nights, get togethers, or even if you're just craving to do something a little different! Came here on a Monday night(reserve online before the class starts) and it was dead. I mean, the class was set up for at least six people and we were the only ones to show up that night. We almost thought it was closed! Regardless, our painting instructor decided to allow us to stay and paint! Her name was Amber and honestly she made the whole experience. We were skeptical about being the only ones to be there and paint(can you say awkward? Lol) but Amber made us feel like it was meant to just be us three the entire time. She had us laughing the entire time, really helped us get our paintings look semi professional, and played awesome 80s music to accompany the painting journey. Painting with a twist is fun because they provide everything you need to honestly paint a nice picture. And I can say that coming from two very uncreative people . They walk you through each step, help you fix mistakes, and honestly make you feel like an actual painter. My husband and I have decided that we will just go to painting with a twist every month to populate our home with cheap art! Haha. In all seriousness though, great experience. Very cool studio. Great music, awesome painting instructor, and the fact that they still let us paint after the whole class bailed, made it even better! Highly recommend this place and Amber as an instructor!! More...

I'm giving this place four stars because is missing information on their website . I bought three tickets on their website with a credit card that I don't carry around because of its credit limit . I first called but since no one answered I figure it out and paid on their site . I get a call back from I guess the owner now that I know and she said she saw my missing number I told her oh I figured it out . I just didn't know how the payment thing went and we hung up . When I get to place the young lady at the front tells me that she needed to see my credit card the one I paid with . I told her I didn't have it but I can show her my driver license along with the confirmation on my email . She kept telling me that's not gonna Work . Now I'm getting annoyed and frustrated because I live an hour away. I tried calling my husband to to get a picture of it but he wasn't home . She still wasn't buying it . I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager . I'm like on your website it Doesn't say anything on bringing the actual card. I do this all the time when I buy tickets to concert . I just show my Id . I ended up getting a refund to my card and just paying cash . The reason I'm frustrated is because what if you don't bring cash or other credit cards . I know she said it was for my credit protection but let's get real is an art class who the heck is going to try to steal a card for an art class . They should let the customer know so that they come prepare . The reason is getting four stars because at the end for all the trouble the young lady was very nice and gave me a coupon for for the free class and because the people teaching the class were funny and the whole experience was fun. I will come back and give another star once they fix their site and are more specific so that everyone knows. More...

I'm not much of an artist or creative when it comes to art-- painting, drawing, or sketching but this place is meant for everyone whether they're novices or experts in painting! This was my first experience in a setting like this. They offer food & drinks (that require additional $$$) while you paint! You have to book ahead of time and you can pick a day that correlates to a specific painting that you would like to paint. This event is perfect for a girls day or for a date! You follow the instructor's lead while they show you step-by-step what to paint, so this is great guidance for whoever is a visual learner and struggles in painting (like me). It was really therapeutic for me while painting the canvas and it was a fun stress reliever. Of course your painting doesn't have to be perfect and you can always add your own twist and unique style to it, and that's what makes it great because you can see how everyone's painting is totally different in the end. It's a 2-hr long class, and the staff made it a really fun experience with their enthusiasm. They made us feel comfortable and did not critique our own paintings if we messed up. They also let us go at our own pace if we didn't finish a certain step and waited for everyone to be on the same step. The studio even has a separate room for private parties. I would definitely do something like this again and do more paintings! More...
