A FABULOUS NIGHT! I had so much fun yesterday at Painting with a Twist. My friend and I wanted to meet up for a chill girls night so I searched events online and found this ad on Facebook. This particular night was "Galentines" themed. As are most sip and paint studios guests are encouraged to BYOB, however this night we were treated with complimentary champagne, mini cheesecake bites and chocolate strawberries. How cute! :) Mia is the owner of the studio and she is so incredible sweet! She was very welcoming as soon as I walked in the door. You can just tell how she's a  genuinely kind person and wants to make sure everybody enjoys their experience at her studio.Our art class was led by an artist named Rosa. She was too funny with a bubbly personality. She kept the atmosphere so fun and carefree! It was very easy to follow her steps to create our paintings and she often walked around to check our progress and gave helpful pointers. Mia also incorporated a cute little game while we were waiting for a portion of our paintings to dry. It was similar to pin the tail on the donkey. We took turns spinning in circles a few times, put a blindfold on and had to walk towards a painting and place a wine glass cut out as close we could to where it should be placed on the painting. The paintings took about 2 hours to complete which seemed like the perfect amount of time for this experience. We walked away with pretty pictures of heart shaped flowers in mason jars!I really enjoyed my time here. I would totally recommend checking this studio out!! More...

Saturday was my third time doing this but my first time at this location and I have to say this was the best so far! The instructor and owner was very welcoming and helpful. The instructor was exceptional!! She was patient, conversational, had a good vibe the whole time, and most of all made me feel like an artist LOL! Omgggg where do I start we had a blast the instructors are amazing everything was neat and clean the place smells good great hospitality marleigh I love her she is amazing we celebrated my cousin 40th birthday it will always be memorable for us I definitely recommend this place also I know everyone ther is good but I only want marleigh kmsl but I'm serious I had the time of my life I'll find something to celebrate just to come back big huge thanks again I give y'all 10 stars 5 is not enough continue to make everyone happy and laugh we appreciate the love y'all spread through your work I can definitely see you love what you do stay blessed see y'all again soon

My husband and I randomly signed up for a class at PWaT and had a blast. My husband, who did not think he was the visual artist in our family, came out with an incredible painting and actually had a lot of fun! My friend and I decided to do a double date and we decided on Painting with a twist. When we got there we were the only four in the class so it felt like our own personal painting lesson. Anne Marie was the instructor and she did such a great job at directing us on our paintings. She let us pick the music and kept us entertained. Even when we were just talking she was very personable and a lot of fun. We also played games while our paintings dried so even when we weren't painting Anne Marie kept us entertained. I'm not an artist AT ALL but Anne Marie's instructions really helped me in making the painting. It's so exciting seeing how the painting slowly comes together into a work of art! Anne Marie was also kind enough to tell us about upcoming classes like the Paint your pet or the Valentine's day classes that sounded awesome so we're planning on coming back soon! More...

My boyfriend went to Painting with a Twist last Saturday on a date night. We have already been back this Saturday! The location is BYOB. Upon arrival, you are instructed to sit in front of a station that has a water cup, 2 brushes, a canvas, and paints laid out for you. Both of our instructors have been very outgoing and helpful. My boyfriend and I both have never painted before. Our paintings have turned out amazing and we have hung both up in our house. The owner is so kind and friendly as well. I would absolutely recommend to anyone to go on a date night, girls night, or any occasion! We both are planning on bringing our families as well! 10/10 More...

Ever wanted to feel like an actual artist before even though you weren't born artistically talented? Well, this place was made for you! I've been here twice within the past year and both experiences left me wanting to come back for more. Here's a little overview of what the class is like:- Classes start at $35 per person- Classes are typically 2 hrs long- BYOW (bottle openers & plastic cups are provided or you can bring your own glasses)- Instructor(s) will give you step-by-step instructions on how to paint the chosen image & demo it on their own canvas at the front of the class- There will be some sort of game mid-class (e.g. musical chairs, etc.) in which the winner will get to chose a painting to take home with them - There's blowdryers to ensure your painting is dry for the ride home & a backdrop for a mini photoshoot with your new masterpiece And the best part about it is that you get to drink wine throughout your whole experience! What may seem impossible to paint at first will slowly unravel in front of your eyes as the class progresses. They provide you with all the colors you need to paint your piece along with 2 brushes and a huge water cup. Don't worry about having to wash the brushes or cleaning up your station at the end of the class because the instructor(s) will take care of it for you. Went there this past weekend for my first painting event and had a blast.  I realized that next time I need to check my Type A personality at the door and enjoy it more.  I'm too much of a perfectionist with these sort of things at home, and 2 hours just is not enough time for that.  Annmarie was fabulous, but she was ready to move on far quicker than I was and I found myself stressed and frustrated. I eventually caved and gave into the fun of it though.  My only other complaint was the brushes... while Little Mama was great, I felt like a smaller brush would have made the lines easier to do.  I feel like 2 brush sizes was just not enough. Wow we had such a great time at this place.  I'll start by saying I'm surprised to see that this place had been here for over a year.  I literally love around the corner and was driving home in traffic one day and saw it I thought I discovered something new until I saw these older reviews.  The whole painting and sipping concept isn't new but I love the twist this place put on the experience.  We walked in right before the class started.  Late because of him as usual.  The instructor and assistant were loads of fun.  The laughs and the drinks were flowing throughout the night. My co-workers and I decided to give painting a try and it was really fun. When we went, they were doing some kind of a deal so each of us paid about $30+tip for our painting session. Our instructor Marlie was really witty, patient, and fun. I'm not the most artistic person in the world so I did not have very much hope that my painting would turn out well. I live in the Washington, DC area and sip n paints are pretty popular for us. I was excited to see what Georgia had in store for us. I'm not used to the BYOW style. I quickly learned I love it much more than the venue providing the wine. In DC you get about 4-6oz of wine included in your reservation and can pay for more wine throughout the night. Being able to bring as much wine as I want is much is much more worth it. Now onto the lesson, it was fantastic. Our instructor had a really positive attitude. She was funny and she used terminology and similes we were familiar with to guide us. She took her time and even came down to help us. None of this is anything I was expecting. At the events I went to in the past the artist painted and you just followed along. They didn't have a stage , just a higher canvas and they yelled .. no mic. This experience was beyond all of my expectations and I'm really happy I went.  The value for the money is unmatched. Oh , we also played a really cool game while we waited for our background to dry and the winner got to take home a painting from their prize wall. Definitely can't wait to come back. More...

Tonight was my first time to try my hand at painting a canvas and I had a good time.  The instructors were very positive and very involved with everyone in the class. Everyone got a lot of individual attention. The class lasted for two hours, with plenty of breaks to allow for a sip of wine and to allow the coats of paint to dry. During the breaks we played a couple of very fun games. Everyone in the class seem to be very engaged during the painting and the breaks. My only disappointment was that even though I followed the instructors instructions, and my painting looks very much like his in the end, my painting did not look like the example that was given in the advertisement.  It felt like the instructor may not have painted the original painting.
