What do you love most about your job?
I get to spend my days with amazing dogs. Watching how they read each other, learning more each time about their body language signals. Watching nervous dogs come into their own and build in confidence. Dogs always brighten my day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My journey started from growing up with our family dog, then having my own dogs. I watched how they interacted with other dogs, people and situations. I wanted to learn more, I read books, attended courses, watched my dogs more and more and read their signals.
I spent my working life in an office, but always wanted to be outdoors in the fresh air, spending time with my dogs. So, in 2014 Padding Paws was born. I have not looked back since.
Why should our clients choose you?
I make sure play and walks are appropriate and safe whilst using the environment around us. I tailor the walk to fit your dog's requirements and needs, taking into account your dog's fitness, health, age and emotional state and not forgetting to factor in the weather.
Your dog will return home contented and relaxed having decreased stress levels and lowered heart rate.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Padding Paws follows the latest guidance from PIF and CFSG. I adapted our operations to fall into line with the changing rules, whilst maintaining client safety.
