Oxygen Spa Studio

This place is extremely decent for the value (on Groupon). They have free dried fruits and nuts in the waiting room, which, hey, that's already a few stars for me lol. Also when you walk in they immediately give you some water and some cloth slippers. These slippers look used but I don't think they are- they just look off white or like they've been laundered and are a little worse for wear. Oh well. The young man checking us in is really friendly. I got my massage by another young massage therapist who was very good using the right amount of pressure. He did the back and then the arms shoulders and legs. The only complaint is his music choice was all rap and strangely not relaxing. It kinda hyped me up actually. He said he chooses non spa music because he doesn't want all his clients to fall asleep. Afterward I get to shower there in the same room. However it's awkward because they have lotions and soaps and shampoo but nothing is labeled  so you're  fumbling around smelling bottles. I was coming to town on business and saw this place cruising around online. I like the looks and so I decided to call. The receptionist was very kind and booked everything ahead of time. She even gave me directions from my hotel and tips on the best way to get there.  This place was very easy to find. It exceeded my expectations.  It was clean and serene. Everything you want in a massage studio.  I didnt have to wait very long when my husband and I met with our masseurs.  They both had taken time to read through our paperwork and were aware of our trouble spots. My fiancé and I just had a couples massage with Marie and LaShauna who were both outstanding! It was so good that my fiancé who hated massages until we went is now a convert and planning to do it once a month! Definitely worth the trip!

I think I got a sports massage from Daisy. I work long hours and lift heavy items all day working as a cook. Daisy was super informative and also gave me great advice to stretch before shifts because of the work load, she stretched me out and had great pressure when taking the knots out. I got an awesome deal on Black Friday for a sixty minute massage at Oxygen Spa Studio. They have a cute little waiting room when you get there. The massage room was dimly lit with light music playing and the perfect temperature.My masseuse was super friendly and great at what she did. The perfect amount of pressure and just a very relaxing massage. I work in an office and have been getting periodic massages for years to combat overuse injuries and muscle pain. I found this place through Groupon when I moved to Chicago a few years ago and haven't look back. While all my massages here have been great, I found that LaShauna works miracles. She consistently provides some of the best massages I've ever had. I describe my issues and she knows exactly which muscles to focus on and just the right pressure to get the knots out. The space is very nice and the rooms are bigger than expected. There is a big step leading to the hallway, ao watch out. OMG! This was absolutely the best massage I had in a long time. I mean absolutely the best! The spa itself was cute, relaxing and serene. They greet you with a glass of refreshing and flavored water and spa shoes. When you get into the room, you're greeted with a warm plush robe. The masseuse did an excellent job! She hit all my problem areas and after the massage she told me the things I need to do to help my problem areas and told me how often I should get a massage. I highly recommend this place. amazing little spa in west loop! i found it on gilt city for when i was in town for the weekend so decided to treat myself to facial and massage during the day when my friends were at work. ubered over here - there was a lot of construction but there was a giant sign directing you to the spa. helpful! maria did my facial and she was very thorough and explained what she was doing - process was very relaxing - the extractions werent even that bad.  i had a male masseuse (sorry, not recalling the name now) and he was fantastic! got all my knows out in my shoulders and offered tips on what to do in the future. even gave me a few extra minutes because he didnt have an appointment for another hour. i thought it was super nice! anyhoo - would definitely come back in the future! prices without gilt deal are also quite reasonable. I am a huge fan of Oxygen Spa Studio. I've had some disappointing massage experiences elsewhere, so I was thrilled to find this place. I've been to Maria many times, and she is fantastic. She has a great demeanor and gives a wonderful deep tissue massage. I also saw Chrishenda recently for some help with hip issues in particular, and she was amazing, as well. Everyone there is friendly and helpful, and I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I highly recommend checking out Oxygen Spa Studio.
