We can't begin to explain the true magic that Collette achieved. 5 stars isn't enough. Our wedding flowers were just a sight to behold and from the moment we met, she understood what we wanted and excelled tenfold. The skill, the freshness of the flowers, the impact, and the oohs and ahhs we had on the day, all showed just what magic was achieved. My jaw hit the floor when I saw the flowers. I cannot rate Collette at Origins Floral highly enough; I have worked on a wedding with her and have used Origins Floral Designs for my Mum's funeral flowers. Mum was a botanist and a flower expert and I knew that when the time came to find someone who could create the floral tributes that my family and I (and Mum) would approve of and be proud of, there was no hesitation to go with Collette.Going the extra mile and getting to know her clients so she can say "hand on heart" that she understands your vision, these come and standard with Collette. We hired Collette to do the flowers for our wedding and she made the whole experience a pleasure. She listened to all our ideas, offered some really good advice in a clear, simple manner and helped us choose the best types and colours of blooms to fit in with our desires and budget.
Her table arrangements, bouquets and pinholes were loved by everyone and lasted for absolutely ages after the actual event (my mother-in-law got to enjoy them while we enjoyed our honeymoon and they still looked great when we got back!).

What do you love most about your job?
I love being part of each couple's wedding story. All our clients are individual and we aim to help them by creating the most amazing flowers to suit their personalities, flowers that are really them!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always been very creative and I knew one day that I would like to build a business from the heart. I discovered my talent for floristry when I was getting married, as I made my own flowers and most of the other items for the wedding. I loved it so much I studied Floristry and I am now working towards my Dutch Masters Degree in Floristry. I absolutely live and breathe flowers and my enthusiasm and energy is carried throughout all my weddings.

There are many florists out there but there are none like me. I live and breathe floristry, it's truly not just a job for me. I absolutely love weddings and I love what I create for people. It's so special to be part of a couples wedding day and I really love to get to know my couples so that I can do my absolute best for them. We are always there when you need us and we make sure that you never have to worry about your flowers or the service with us.
