Beware! Read all the other 1-star reviews before trusting Orhan's with your alterations! While the staff is friendly, their fees are ridiculously high and alterations to my suit were subpar. Required multiple visits and the end result was still not satisfactory at all. They offer a month to bring items back for further alterations, but I don't trust them anymore and had to cut my losses. I used Orhan Tailoring back in May to do my wedding dress adjustments. I was coming from Australia, so booked this place based on reviews and their price list, and the fact they said their turnaround time was around a week to ten days. When I had my appointment, they advised their turnaround time was two weeks, and I had to sign paperwork that said I'd accept their work whatever comes. I had no other options because of my timeframe (despite booking my appointment ages ago) - and then at my appointment they advised that alterations would cost over 600 pounds. This bears absolutely no relation to their price list, and is at least 2-3 times higher than bridal alterations for every one of my friends at other places. Finally, the alterations themselves were really disappointing... the beautiful dress I brought in had the fabric puckered in certain places, weirdly gathered at the hips, so many loose threads where the beads sewn into the dress just fell off because they didn't tie the loose ends, the train didn't stay on the hook - for the cost it was very under average service. I can't recommend this place at all, and would advise friends looking for bridal alterations to go elsewhere. More...

My wife and I had a fantastic experience with Orhan tailoring. We commissioned custom wedding outfits for both of us. Our process started from mood boards and initial drawings, through multiple fitting appointments and alterations. What a fabulous business! I gave them a difficult task - adjusting a wool dinner jacket to fit me in three days - mainly down to my own disorganisation. They did a brilliant job, were really very friendly indeed and got it ready for me in time for an event (hence the tight time frame). I’ve now got a dinner jacket that feels tailor made. Impeccable service from very talented people when getting my wedding dress fitted.
