Worth a regular shop to get great produce, and really, really great baked goods. You can't find all your groceries here, but what they do have is really great quality, and their staff are very helpful.

By far the best food shopping in North Bay. Yes it can be more expensive than the supermarkets but the quality is the defining factor. Their orange juice is fantastic their steaks are even better. you can ask for just about any cut and come back and they will have it done for you if the butcher is not there for whatever reason. the salad bar is to die for you can literally make anything you can possibly think of. would definitely recommend checking out the only downfall is that some things that shouldn't be as expensive are as expensive. I really enjoy coming here. Always fresh fruits and veggies, deli counter has a great selection of meats and cheeses. Bakery offers a great selections of breads and pastries. Â Lunch counter offers a great selections of prepared meals from padThai to chicken wings. A huge salad bar for a lighter lunch option, or to take home without having to prepare anything. If you have the need to get in and out of a grocery store, this is the place. Big enough to have most of the items you need, small enough to not have the need look for anything. Love this place! Small but loaded with goodness. Their salad bar is the greatest. I can get a large spinach salad loaded with things like shrimp, feta, other veggies, seeds, etc. for under $8. I come here often.

Really fresh produce and beautiful display. We picked up lunch from the hot food section, everything tasted fresh and delicious. I love the fresh squeezed juice here, orange, grapefruit, lemonade. Where else can I get this regardless of price. Some might argue that this place is pricy. I'd say quality produce isn't free. Great store good food, however many changes in the last couple of weeks, if you're going to pay top dollar you want top customer service, and self-services bakeries, and butchers going on break when the store just opened if not top customer service.

Love this place but you are very pricy for North Bay. I know your meat/cheese and produce is top notch but perhaps maybe have more than one item per week "special". Also maybe have a few items for "toonie Tuesday" and not just one or two items as it will get people in and I bet ya they will buy more than the specials :) I know you are fairly new but also a "Client rewards program" would also increase the flow through your store....... As I know you would be my "go to" rather than my "treat" store...... Again...... They have really, really delicious salsa made from good ingredients, not just loaded with sugar like a lot of fresh salsa at other places does. I didn't find the prices bad, then again, I live in Ottawa where pretty much everything is more expensive than in North Bay, so my opinion could be skewed in this matter.Also they had a bar for freshly squeezed orange juice.i don't know of anywhere here in Ottawa that has anything like this.Even our "health/organic" food stores just sell processed garbage(like Lara Bars), unhealthy cane sugar/hfcs substitutes that are worse for you than cane sugar/hfcs(like agave), and a bunch of rotten apparently organic fruit.I wish they would bring something like this place here. I really enjoyed the store today and the employees are really nice. The fruit and vegetables I personally thought they were reasonably priced, are very healthy and high quality. I prefer to spend my money on fruit and veggies that last longer because they are fresher, then buying from a company that by.the time they get them they are a week or two old. To the people complaining about organic food, orchards tries to support local farmers, maybe if you want organic foods complain to the local farmers to become organic. More...
