Orapello's catered my daughter's Sweet Sixteen Birthday Party. Joe and Stephen were great. Pizza was delicious! Great array of pizza toppings satisfied everyone. Highly recommend!

Excellent authentic pizza. True Neapolitan. This outfit makes their own dough and is fanatical about toppings including homemade Italian sausage! Specialty pizzas include prosciutto, arrugula, and a delicious balsamic drizzle only to be outdone by a pear, gorgonzola, and caramelized onion treat!!! Dough is thin and crispy. Orapello's was hands down one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. They catered our Friday night welcome dinner for 100+ people and EVERYONE raved about the pizza -- it was INCREDIBLE! ! We live in NYC and have super high pizza standards and -- no joke -- these guys crushed any slice we've ever had in the city. Can't say enough about these guys and their pizza! Incredible dough that is thin, crispy, chewy. They offer a wide variety of high quality toppings, so there is something for everyone. The specialty pizzas: pear and gorgonzola, basil pesto with roasted red peppers, and prosciutto, arugula, and balsamic glaze were dynamite! The staff is very professional and friendly. Orapello's catered a party at our house. They set up the pizza oven on our driveway with a tent. It was fabulous! The pizza was incredible. All our guests loved the food and the concept. The pizza is absolutely delicious--some of the best I have had in the Capital Region. The pizza tastes fresh, light, and beyond amazing. Joe was great to work with. He will email back immediately. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin. Before you finish reading this review, please just call Joe and reserve your date now. Orapello's was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day. My husband and I got married on 8.18.18 in Lake Placid and went for a relaxed, bohemian vibe. This meant no seated dinner. We are big foodies and loved the idea of having food trucks/mobile vendors at our wedding, so we stumbled across Orapello's while looking through the very limited mobile food options in the Adirondacks. We trusted Orapello's amazing reviews and we were blown away. This was the best pizza we've had anywhere in the world - Italy included. I don't know how Joe and his team came up with their pizza dough recipe, but it is insanely good. Perfectly doughy, but also light and crispy, with the most amazing flavours. His topping choices were delicious - our guests kept raving about the pear gorgonzola. Orapello's was able to churn out pizzas for 130+ people in a matter of minutes and we kept hearing from guests that it was some of the best pizza they've ever had (and we have some pizza snobs in our group of family & friends!) Joe was amazing throughout the planning process, always on top of emails and very patient when our venue required extra permits and such. We can't thank Joe and the Orapello's crew enough. Working with Orapello's was SO easy and made our wedding really special. I was hesitant to hire a pizza truck for my wedding because I have heard other trucks cause long waits for food. However, with 100 guests and releasing tables of 20 at a time we were easily able to serve all our guests quickly and they raved about the quality of the pizza. It was SO yummy. We used Orapello's as one of our wedding vendors for our welcome party 2 weeks ago, and it turned out to be one of our best decisions. They were so easy to work with (responded super quickly, were very helpful etc), very professional night of, and the pizza and salads were out of this world delicious. Our guests were so happy! It was important to us to find vendors that sourced good quality ingredients, and we found that here; it also made the food taste that much more fresh and amazing. Went to a wedding at the Waterfall House in West Fulton last weekend, and one of the best parts of the event was the absolutely delicious pizzas.  As part of the wedding party, my husband was responsible for helping get the oven set up and ferrying pizzas in as they were completed, and Orapello's guys were so conscientious, polite, helpful and just a joy to work with... also, since Spouse was handling the transaction, I saw the price. And for the quality of the pizzas - it was totally reasonable. Really recommended - I don't often see these types of affairs done well at weddings. More...

From our mid-winter tasting at Joe and Kim's house, where we were made to feel very welcome and excited, to all of our quick email and phone communications, to the big day, it was nothing but a pleasure to work with Orapello's Wood Fired Pizza.Joe is truly a pizza perfectionist-- his oven was imported from Italy, he only uses doppo zero flour for the dough and San Marzano tomatoes for the sauce. This man is the real deal. My new husband (!!!) is very serious about pizza, and he knew he had met his pizza-loving match in Joe from the moment we read the Orapello's website. The pizzas are incredible, with beautiful leoparding of the crust and flavorful ingredients. We got so many compliments at our wedding of 90 people, and Joe and his crew were able to serve all of them incredibly quickly for a very reasonable price. My favorite was the BBQ chicken with tart red onions, but the pear & gorgonzola, and the prosciutto and arugula with balsamic drizzle were also huge hits. Even three days later, I am enjoying the pizza on my honeymoon, cold from the fridge.It's very rare that I will recommend something without hesitation or caveat, but I would do so for Orapello's. Honestly, if we have any more big events in our family, we will probably be calling Joe to swing by with his oven. We had Orapello's cater our gathering after our wedding. The food was awesome, Joe and crew were wonderful and accommodating. We had Orapello's Wood Fired Pizza at our farm wedding last weekend, and it was a HUGE hit! Everyone loved the pizza. Joe and his team were incredibly friendly, professional, and accommodating. They had to run all of the pizzas up a hill that led into our barn in the summer heat, and they did it all night with a smile on their face! I was super impressed with their professionalism. Also, the pizza is absolutely delicious! It's thin and slightly crispy, but not TOO crispy (you know how some places burn wood fired pizza? I hate that!). There are a huge variety of flavors, and Joe and his team do their best to get them out quick. We had 70 guests at our wedding and used one pizza truck. Joe was able to get everyone fed within a half hour time frame. It did take about 5 minutes to replenish the pizzas after each table went up to serve themselves, but the wait was worth it. Many of our guests went back for seconds and thirds as the night went on.I would definitely recommend Orapello's pizza for your wedding! More...
