I had an appointment at the Apple store and I knew that there was no way my kids would cooperate with the long wait at the store, so I dropped them off at Orange Elephant. I was greeted by a friendly person who helped me register. I noticed that there weren't too many other kids, which was a plus (it was a Wednesday evening). The person working there said it gets busier during the weekend. After registering, I said my goodbyes and went to my dreaded appointment. I came back to pick up the kids and was pleasantly surprised at the creatures they had made with air-dry clay. I was so glad that they were entertained by the activity, I mean who wouldn't enjoy playing with clay rather than being dragged to a crowded Apple store?! Right before we were going to pick up my kid, the #earthquake hit. I was so worried they would be freaking out, but they were all cool and calm when I picked up my son If these staff can stay calm under the condition (while many people were screaming and running out of the mall), I am pretty confident they can hand pretty much any issuesAlso, I liked the fact they create art insteadOf just letting them run around and watch them. It’s already one and a half year that I know “Orange Elephant “ in Glendale Galleria. This is the only place that you can drop off your kids and go do your shopping or whatever you have to do. Excellent idea!!!! This place is amaaazing. It’s a no ordinary art place where you can take your child to create some fun things but the fact that you can pay hourly and leave them there while you shop or meet with friends for coffee etc etc makes it THE BEST arts and crafts place. Seems like the owner is a woman who felt the need for some ME time for busy moms. Great idea and I’ll definitely go back. One thing that got me wondering is 0 paperwork. If anything happens how can you prove your child was there?! Went in last night so my little could play and craft something fun. The staff was wonderful! They were so patient and engaging with him, he loved it. I love that they send home their craft projects too, which he also loved. I'm also considering having his birthday party there and they explained everything about their party's. They answered all of my questions and gave me some suggestions on what works best for his age group. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves, I stayed because my little asked me to, but next time I might try to leave for part of the hour. I took my little brother to Orange Elephant, for his friend's birthday party. The staff there are great at making the kids feel welcome, engaged, and at ease. The party they threw for him was everything a little kid could want, and plus they take the time to play with the kids, encouraging them to have fun and create cool art. I absolutely love this place. Both the play and parent areas are great. I wouldn't have been able to schedule my video/phone interviews without Orange Elephnat. They even went above and beyond when I mistakenly scheduled an interview for 5pm on Sunday. Being new I didn't realize that they closed early that day, but they stayed open for me! It was the day before we leave the country and I had major shopping to do and two kids with no babysitters on that day. Ughhhhhh! !! I had heard about Orange Elephant and I had been here a couple of time but never dropped off my kids. I was nervous and not sure how that would go about. (Let me mention that my kids are a bit difficult). LolI walked in, the girls in the front are so nice and polite. They explained everything to me and after 5 minutes I was ready to go shopping by myself. I thought my kids would run after me and refuse to start but they didn't even look up as they waived bye to me. I went about my business and an hour later arrived to realized that wanted to stay longer. They had made all kinds of crafts to take home and were so excited. We absolutely adore this Drop-Off Center. We feel so comfortable when leaving our child in Orange Elephant. They truly saved us when we needed to shop or have some time alone. They always make sure we are aware of how our child does throughout the day and they are not bothered by us calling or texting to ask how are child is doing. they provide healthy product non-toxic and organic for arts and crafts. Had to drop off my 4 year old twins there for last minute emergencies. The staff is very professional- the place is AMAZING. My kids love it. There is snacks available and you have the option to purchase...Your child does need to have socks but if you forget you can buy them there :) Thereis always enough staff to kid ratio. Always greeted with a smile from the second I walk in!!The instructors at Orange Elephant know exactly how to make sure each and every kid has a great time here. Their products are amazing and are out of the ordinary. You will not find a type of dough/clay for your kids like the A-clay at the store. Doesn't stick to furniture, carpet, clothes etc., and the kids love it! They have tons of different products in store so there's a lot to chose from.
