I would highly recommend Dr. Greenbaum to my family and friends. I went to see him for a problem I was having with my knee.  I happily found him to be a man of great experience in orthopedics and he had the wisdom and intelligence that goes with it to make me totally confident in what he had to say.  He and his staff were friendly and very well organized. The office was nicely decorated, clean and spacious. I could tell that he truly cared about helping me and was able explained very clearly what my knee problem was and gave me many helpful suggestions on things that I could do to improve my situation. ***THE BEST ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON****I highly recommend Dr. Greenbaum. Finally, an orthopedic surgeon that's not interested in always pushing for surgery. I've been having knee issues for years and finally found out that I don't have any cartilage left behind the left knee so I opted for Stem Cell. While chatting in the waiting area with his patients, they were telling me how they weren't able to walk without a cane or a walker prior to having stem cell. And now they walk without a cane and Walker so I decided to go for it. It's only my first month and it takes awhile for it to work so I am hoping to have excellent results from this. We've had some of my friends from my mountain biking Meetup that has gone to Dr. Greenbaum when they tore their rotator cuff or did something to their shoulder or knees that required surgery. Woke up with excruciating pain on my right shoulder that I could not move my arm at all.  I went to Newport Orthopaedics had my X-ray & MRI taken.  They gave me steroids meds for 6 days for the inflammation & pain.  Prescribed 6 weeks of physical therapy.  Follow up to see doctor Gazzaniga 2 weeks later.  I was waiting 45 min out front and Dr. Gazzaniga only spent 5 min and said I don't need surgery & just do PT.  If I still have pain, then he would do cortesion shots.  No explanation of what I have & why.I wanted 2nd opinion so I made an appointment to see Dr. Greenbaum.  I waited only 5 min out front.  Dr. Greenbaum took the time to review and explained in detail of my symptoms based on the MRI & his testing of my arms movements.  He explained that I have calcific Tendonitis but my really issue is the bursitis is thinning due to my weak muscles.  Conclusion is no surgery needed but I need to strengthen my muscles so physical therapy is needed for 6 weeks and continue with my exercise.  The cortesone shot only helps my pain & inflammation but with weaken muscles, I will still get the pain.Dr. Greenbaum is caring & taking the time to explain in detail of my symptoms & why I have it & what I need to do to avoid the symptoms .  I highly recommend him. Absolutely loved him! He treated my frozen shoulder, from which I had been suffering for months. I could not take it any more, and he put me to sleep and adjusted it. We first met Dr. Bradley Greenbaum when my Daughter needed Emergency Surgery on her elbow that broke during school recess and lodged a Bone chip in the Joint.  He did such an outstanding job for her that both my Wife and I have been going to him for our Knee and Shoulder Issues.  He takes the time to help you understand your options, and offers several alternatives to try to avoid Surgery.   He repaired a torn Meniscus 6 years ago in my right knee and now I have a different knee problem that we are trying to resolve with Physical Therapy and are making progress.  As a coincidence, I have had several friends also go to Dr. Greenbaum and all have come away with the same Positive Feedback. I was happy I was referred to Dr. Greenbaum. I was seen quickly and Dr. Greenbaum was very helpful. I had been having some hamstring pain and I like to be active outdoors and doing group interval fitness classes, so I wanted to make sure I should keep exercising despite that lingering pain. He was friendly, asked me questions about the issue, showed me some stretching I could do to gain flexbility in related areas, etc. All in all, it was a quick but very informative appointment. I want to see Dr. Greenbaum for an onset of acute shoulder pain after looking at my MRA surgery was scheduled and after my 3 month check up my shoulder is completely healed. He worked within my time frame to schedule the surgery before year end. I liked the friendly office staff and never had a long wait like most specialists. Dr. Greenbaum is an amazing surgeon with a wealth of knowledge and experience! He did both of my ACL knee repairs with tremendous success. I tore both of my ligaments within 2 years of each other and he repaired both of them with no problems. In fact, I feel much stronger than ever before. I play sand volleyball twice a week, play very competitive  tennis weekly and climbed Mt Whitney with 50 pounds on my shoulder with absolutely no pain in my knees. I have been having an issue with my wrist for about a month.  Finally decided to make an appointment with Dr. Greenbaum to get it checked.  When I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly front desk staff.  I was quickly taken to get X-rays by the nice X-ray technician and taken to a room to wait for Dr. Greenbaum.  It was a very short wait, which is always good!  Dr. Greenbaum quickly diagnosed my wrist situation as De Quervain's Tenosynovitis and discussed treatment.  Dr. Greenbaum was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I saw Dr. Greenbaum for a second opinion for an injury of my right knee during the summer. And I'm so happy I did after reading his Yelp reviews.  I won't name any names but the first Ortho I saw is supposedly one of the best in Orange County from South County Orthopedics Specialists whom just delayed my care and was negligent.  I'm an Emergency Room nurse and I even knew I tore something in my knee when I was only told I had a patella dislocation and physical therapy would suffice after having a positive MRI.  Well Dr. Greenbaum didn't disappoint.  He was attentive and answered all my questions.  He was with me longer than 15 minutes for my first consult.  The first Ortho doctor maybe was in the room with me for less than 5 minutes and didn't even assess my knee.  Dr. Greenbaum considers your age and activity level for his recommendations.  He is straightforward and tells you like it is.  He won't waste your time.  You can tell he is passionate about his work.  He said he could give me my second best knee.  He knew I had either partial torn or completely torn my ACL on the first appointment, based on his physical assessment and listening to my signs and symptoms.  I had my ACL reconstruction on 9/7 and I am happy with the results.  His office staff is also attentive and very helpful. My wife was suffering from knee pain. Based on yelp reviews, I called to book an appointment with Dr Greenbaum. The front office person was really friendly and pleasant to speak with. Our appointment went really smooth. The doc explained the cause of the pain. He said that the most lasting change would come if my wife started exercising regularly. He recommended the forms of exercising to favor and forms to avoid.He said injections etc were an option but best is to just start taking care of the body more. I loved the fact that he didn't push any meds or invasive treatments etc. He educated us and encouraged us to take more responsibility of our health. Though I hope we don't need to go back, but if there were ever a need, Dr Greenbaum would be my first choice. More...

Dr Greenbaum did arthroscopic knee surgery to repair my ACL and Meniscus. He explained the surgery and what to expect in detail. My results have been unbelievable!  I have very little pain and the healing has gone better then I could have expected. I went to Dr. Greenbaum for a second opinion on my knee issues.  The first orthopedic told me I needed arthroscopic surgeries on BOTH knees.  What I really like about Dr. Greenbaum is that he didn't recommend this surgery right now and suggested other less invasive treatments first!  I just finished my 3rd ortho-visc injection and hoping that helps for now.  I always have lots of questions and Dr. Greenbaum patiently answers all of them.  It is a small office unlike the previous one I went to.  I much prefer a small office with just one doctor. . . more personal and they know you by name!  Also, the office staff is great!  Now I'm off to play tennis!!! Dr. Greenbaum has done two arthroscopic surgeries on my knees to repair torn menisci. Both surgeries held up well for numerous years. Now that I have developed arthritis, I am receiving ortho-visc injections to assist the thinning cartilage. What I like about Dr. Greenbaum is he is knowledgeable and up to date on the newest and least invasive procedures to help his patients. I also like that Dr. Greenbaum takes the time to answer my questions and that he does even minor procedures like my injections himself. My husband has end stage arthritis in his knee and is in terrible pain. Even though Dr. Greenbaum as a surgeon had to tell us that my husband is not a candidate for knee surgery hespent a great deal of time with us with detailed information in such a kind way that I would highly recommend this caring doctor that is forthright and knowledgeable. Personable, professional, courteous and knowledgeable.  I came in as a first time patient (with cranky toddler in tow) to get some knee pain looked at.  Dr. Greenbaum took great care to not only diagnose and then dump knowledge my way, but to make sure that I understood what was being explained and he even demonstrated several exercises to help my body as a whole. Dr. Greenbaum did my total knee replacement almost 6 months.  His name kept popping up from my associates, so I decided to change from the ortho I'd been using over the last couple years.  Glad I did.  The surgery is a fairly brutal one but I was pretty mobile within a couple weeks and now I'm fully functional.  Barely a scar.  I used to need 3 or 4 days to recover from a round of golf and I played 3 times last week without any after effects at all.  The only thing I'd do differently is have the surgery at his in-patient surgical center instead of using Hoag.  Hoag tangled up some insurance paperwork and tried to over-charge me on the anesthesiologist bill.  Dr. Greenbaum got involved in the issue and fixed it with one phone call.   He even called me personally to explain it was done.  If you are looking for an ortho to fix your knee issues, call Bradley Greenbaum's office in Irvine.
