I'm very grateful to have found Ora Fitness. I first met Jen 4 years ago when my fitness wasn't great. I wanted to find someone who I could feel comfortable with and not embarrassed. And Jen was turned out to be that person. Not only is she hugely knowledgeable, she is also lovely and kind (even when she's suggesting you do squats!) and I felt very comfortable around her. She identified what needed to be worked on also gave advice for between sessions. And it worked. I felt stronger and fitter which then gave me the confidence to give other things a go, including my now passion for sea swimming. I always feel great after going to I can not recommend Ora Fitness highly enough! More...

I’ve been seeing Jen regularly for maybe a year now and she has always been professional in all aspects plus great fun to train with. She has expert knowledge of rehab and combines patience with helpful motivation so you get realistic improvement. You can tell she really cares about her clients and her team. I always feel positive about our sessions even when they are tough. Thanks Jen :) More...

Absolutely fantastic.Great spacious and clean facilities in a great central location.I had Jen as my trainer who was so friendly and provided the perfect level of hard work and fun. Jen's priority was to find a programme that would work for me and that was realistic for me to continue in my own time too. Jen got me to do things I would otherwise never have attempted and these are now part of my weekly programme!I would highly recommend booking in here - a truly excellent service. More...

Q&As

We offer a individual approach as every person and body is different. We offer a free consultation to go through a questionaire and evaluate each persons needs, goals and highlight any injuries or medical conditions. From this we can plan our approach in terms of what types exercise that will work and be effective and that the client will enjoy. If someone hates running we won't run, we will box or cycle or row! We also have vast experience with conditions such as cancer, neuro and cardiac issues to knee replacements and wheelchair users so there is no reason that anyone can not exercise.

Alongside the exercise we give clients a food diary to fill out and write a bespoke food plan offering dietary advice. We follow sensible, not extreme eating plans that don't require you to eat rabbit food all day! We love our food here and follow a 80% good 20% treat rule!

Having fun! Exercise should be fun and we want clients to feel great after each session. Variation is key and having fun with your trainer. We become friends with our clients and form great friendships.

Our ethos - Eating sensibly, exercise, moving daily and enjoying the odd glass of wine and chocolate .

Getting people fitter and happier. We are a sounding board for clients and often have clients coming in after a stressful day at work or kids running riot and they offload onto us. Chatting about things is a healthy way to reduce stress alongside exercise. They feel better after each session mentally, emotionally and physically.

Making people feel more confident in themselves and achieving their goals. Sounds cheesy but it is true.

Our owner Jennifer started the business after many years of working in gyms including Notting Hill, London to Melbourne, Australia. Seeing what works and what does not work in terms of training clients one to one and learning from other trainers. Gyms are often sweaty, noisy and intimidating so training in a private studio with music the client loves with a trainer you like is the goal.

She also knows the are some great trainers out there but many that are poorly qualified and experienced. Our team is older and highly experienced in working with clients with injuries and medical conditions. Training effectively and safely is imperative.

The Ora Fitness team will ensure each client achieves their goal safely and effectively. The studio offers great space to train with free parking, iPod dock, sweat towels and filtered water. The team consists of female and male trainers each fantastic and encouraging with their own skill set. If you choose us you will have fun and get fitter too.
