We had DJ Ty Beat handle all of the music and announcements at our wedding at the end of July 2016. He and is crew were very flexible during the setup and teardown. Ty crushed it during the event! He was very thorough leading up to the big day- setting up shared playlists that we could refine and shared docs to help with the itinerary. In the end, he was able to play most of the day by ear and ensured that the music had the right energy all night long. Our guests were happy and dancing, our parents happy with their first dances, and we were happy to see so many smiles and moves on the dancefloor! Great night! These guys are amazing! They quite literally did not miss a single beat! There was not a single request that they did not say to us. .. "yes, we can help you with that!" And they did it with such enthusiasm and professionalism. They provided sound for our ceremony, and DJ services for the entire event. Working with Opus Events has been such a pleasure. They delivered 110% beyond what my expectations and hopes were for my wedding.
From beginning to end the whole process was made so easy for my husband and I. We met with Tyler told him what we liked, didn't like, ideas we had and him and his team took those ideas and ran with them. During the reception Tyler was so professional yet kept the party going and people on the dance floor all night long - the best part was that he played a great variety and something for everyone. Our photographer, Rob, was amazing as well. He was able to capture the most precious moments that we will be able to treasure forever. Matt, the videographer, is just WOW. The video he created was some of the best money spent for the whole wedding. I truly cannot express enough how excellent of a job Opus Events did. I would highly suggest them to anyone over and over again and trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Wow, what a great deal!! The services were priced very fairly, and the communication before the event was just awesome. Chris was my DJ for the night, he was the best! ! He was so kind, and I truly believed he cared so much about making it special and memorable. I never expected so many people to be on the dance floor, and the party kept going! I loved that I could choose how involved he was and that I could have a playlist, yet have some other great stuff added in. We just got married on memorial day, and we had Tyler as our dj, not only was the music fantastic! But Tyler rolled with all the little changes and was so great with requests and just general wedding mayhem. I talked with both Tyler and Chris through out the planning process and can say that they made it fun and stress free! I never worried about them at all! They were really easy going and very helpful when I had a million questions! They responded quickly to my emails and never made me feel like I was being annoying. What inspired you to start your own business?
Years of performing, touring, and promoting musical events across Michigan and the Midwest. As musicians, we learned how to command a crowd and keep the energy level high! Being a DJ is so much more than just having speakers and music - it's about keeping your finger on the pulse of what electrifies the audience and keeps people moving.
