The company we purchased our laser cutter from no longer exists, I was reccomended Opus by another person who had found themselves in the same situation as me. As they were not too far away from us, it seemed like the best option.Our tube was replaced yesterday and everything is now back up and running! The engineer was punctual & polite and had us back up and running quickly.He was also able to answer some questions regarding my machine which is not something that they themselves stock.They also did me a huge favour a few months previously which really helped me out a lot.I would definately reccomend. We had an Olympus 1325 installed today by Dan from Opus. Great experience from initial contact through to handover. The install was efficient and the training was super. Myself and 3 colleagues now have enough knowledge to use the machine and the software and none of us had any previous experience of operating machinery like this. Barrie from Opus came to our rescue when our electrics went haywire. Despite our best efforts at getting it wrong, Barrie came on time and spend the morning fault finding & replacing parts. After leaving he was even good enough to talk us through re calibration when we found that to be an issue also. Very knowledgeable, clearly passionate about his work and easy to get along with. Just want to say i cannot say enough good things about this companywe bought a laser machine from them last year and they have been nothing but helpful and patient (as new to this) any teething problems have been dealt with promptly and efficiently despite living miles awayits nearly a year now since purchase and they are still there as helpful as ever. Firstly, my apologies to the Opus team, I know feedback is important but I am very forgetful.With this in mind I will treat this as a mid-term appraisal, We took delivery of our Oculus 1390 laser. Firstly the install was smooth, Barry and Dan were both professional and knowledgeable. We hit the ground running and have been very impressed with the machine. After a month or so we had an issue with the laser alignment, a quick phone call with Dan and it was all sorted. We purchased a PEGASUS 2030 ATC in December of last year and I can not speak highly enough of the service that Barrie and Amanda have provided us. From the initial demo at there open day to the install and training. Barrie and Amanda are always just at the end of the phone or email and will do everything they can to help.

As for the machine itself it has honestly changed the way that we look at jobs, we have been able to create things that would not have been possible before and it feel like the possibilities are endless. It has open so many doors for us and changed the way we manufacture everything.

The machine is very well built and all aspects seem to work seamlessly. The 3 x 2 Metre vacuum bed is unbelievably strong and makes holding the material down a doddle even when profiling smaller items. We predominantly use the machine to profile large quantities of 18mm MDF and Pegasus 2030 does this with ease. Things that would have taken us 2-3 hours in the past are now taking 10-20 minutes.

The machine feels powerful when it needs and also delicate when the job requires it. The 8 pcs Auto tool changer works effortlessly and allows for us to preform multi different application on the same job with out the need to keep manually changing the tool, Which again saves a massive amount of time.

If you are in any doubt whether to purchase one of Opus's machines I can honestly say DO IT! I can not stress enough how much this has changed production for us and we could have not asked for a better company to purchase from.
