What do you love most about your job?
My job lets me do what I find most rewarding: to work together with someone, to learn, to teach and to be persistent even in the face of on-going challenges.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In one word, freedom. I so enjoy the freedom of working for myself and making choices about how I am going to support people. When I worked in the NHS I found I was only able to do this in one way. Here I can develop new products like online courses, which give a person more choice about how they learn. And I can write, which lets me develop ideas which can turn into better and more effective ways of helping people.
Why should our clients choose you?
I don't think clients should choose me. I would encourage people to think about what they are looking for and to seek out the best possible therapist.
I try to keep things simple. I focus on what the methods that have been shown to work in behavioural science.
Our aim is to help people live life to the full. The way we hope goes like this:
1. We listen to your concerns and your difficulties
2. We discover what makes you tick when it comes to your work, relationships, pleasure and leisure
3. We work out the best ways for you to learn the skills that will help you get more out of your life
4. We teach, you practice and we work together to overcome the challenges along the way
If we sound right for you, please just get in touch.

Counselling & Therapy
Are you fed up with feeling stuck? Is stress, anxiety or depression affecting your work, relationships or well-being? Therapy gives you the knowledge, skills and support so you can stop struggling. Admitting that you are stuck is not easy and speaking to a therapist can feel scarey. But once you walk through the door, sit down and start talking it can feel as though the weight of the world lifts off your shoulders. Once you’ve tested out to see if you feel comfortable with your therapist, you can find out if they can help. Our approach to counselling and therapy is to focus on the here and now. Despite many popular TV references, we don’t look for causes in your childhood. Instead, you learn ways of dealing with your the thoughts and feelings that are stopping you from moving forwards. Sure, some of these problems may have started when you were younger. Its just that you don’t need to scratch every surface or lift every stone for things to change. Reaching out for help Reaching out for help is difficult. Your mind often tells you that you should be able to deal with stuff on your own. It might also tell you that you are weak for not having overcome this problem before now. Unfortunately, everyone’s mind gets busy with unhelpful thoughts. One challenge is learning to pay attention to the thoughts that help and letting go of the ones that don’t. I believe that it takes strength, courage and wisdom to reach out for help. And to reach out now might be the best thing you ever do for yourself. Because, if you think about it, if you keep doing what you’ve always done, then you are sure to just keep getting the same results.
