1. CONNECT
First we meet with you and learn about your business needs and marketing goals.
We will talk through the principles of your business, enabling us to understand the message you are trying to convey.
We will discuss what pieces of marketing collateral you need whether it be a just logo, business cards, promotional material or a full branding identity. We also discuss the budget and deadline for the project.

2. DESIGN
Now that we have a clear direction, we brainstorm ideas and concepts, often as a team.
We design a concept based on your brief and our research, we find it helpful to sketch ideas out on paper before jumping into Design.

3 PRESENT
We present our concept designs to you for your consideration and feedback. We like you to be involved every step of the way.
We explain to you our reasons behind our designs and choices, and how we think these choices will be effective for your brand.

4. REVISE
Following your feedback, we make revisions to our designs. You may like to collaborate different elements from each design into one, or change colours, fonts or design elements for example.
We will always advise you of what we think works best for the design based on our extensive knowledge.

5. ON TRACK
We send you our revised designs and keep lines of communication open to ensure we are on the right track
There are often further small revisions required after the second round, if needed we make the revisions to the design until both you and we are happy with the outcome.

6. DELIVER
Once you are 100% happy with your final design we deliver the files to you.

8. OUTPUT AND ARCHIVE
We output your files, whether it is for web or print we offer a range of solutions.
Whilst other Designers may have to then pass your project to a third party, for printing for example, we can handle your entire project from start to finish.
We archive your files for future reference.

You know what I like best about graphic design? Before I get to that, you know how every new product seems to come with a promise of greater speed, less labor, more efficiency — but no matter how much time we save, there’s always more work to fill the extra? That’s because saving time isn’t one of life’s great goals. If it were, what with our supermarkets and washing machines and microwaves, we’d all be couched in front of the television, or out fishing. What we want isn’t less work, but rather freedom to do the work we want. To a designer this means the freedom to design. That’s what I like.

I don’t mean design, though, as in a job description, although it’s a fine one. I mean design as in art, beauty, visual richness, the kind of design that makes the world more pleasant to be in. The joy of the computer isn’t that it saves time but that it’s empowered us to make beautiful everything we touch, on a scale we never could before.

I've always liked small businesses because they boost the economy, and starting a graphic design company is a way to have your own business, while using artistic and computer skills to make money. Like any commercial enterprise, starting a business as a graphic designer is an activity that requires knowledge of the industry, as well as how to start and maintain a business. For me who am a hardworking person, a graphic design business could represent independence and autonomy from a standard office job.
