Was cold called by him after seeking marketing assistance online. Paid £250 directly only to find another £250 taken from my account later without consulting me. I generally pay on request. Geoff, I called the number you provided on the jobs board, thats only provided to contractors that apply to live job requests. So you were not cold called. You reuested people contact you about a project. We spoke at great length (over 1.5hrs) with regards to your project and the various services that I could provide you. You were also told that I work on a monthly retainer fee basis for such a project. You requested a 3 month trial and an email was sent confirming all this. You signed up to the monthly retainer package and on the payment page, you were again advised it was a monthly fee, so I dont know how you get the impression I took money withou permission. All payments were stopped as soon as you asked and a cancellation email sent to confirm, so no need to watch your account. I spent hours with you on the phone and online doing things outside the scope of your project, including over £800 of graphic work for FRREE just to try and help you out and over deliver on what was agreed in writing. Im sorry if you don't feel happy, but it wasn't for aa lack of hard work on my end. In future, perhaps you can be clear on your objectives at the start and avoid trying to slip in extra work once a project starts. Also, don't sign a direct debit form if you don't want monthly payments to be taken automatically.

What do you love most about your job?
As the owner of OnizuMedia, I personally love it when my team and I hit project milestones with results that exceed the expectations of our clients.
As we often work virtually, its a great feeling when you hear the excitement in a clients voice, or see the huge grin on their face during a Skype call when they see the results we're getting and start to understand that the strategy we drew up together is actually getting them REAL results!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always had a love for all things IT related, especially the internet, but once I completed my training in PHP web design (when working for EE Ltd, the largest telecoms provider in Europe) I realised that having a great looking website was useless if nobody saw it.
I then began to learn how to drive traffic and generate leads for my families Property Management company. Once other landlords and investors saw what I was doing, word spread and I was asked for Digital Marketing advice more and more frequently, which lead to me naturally expanding my knowledge in an area I am really passionate about.
I was offered voluntary redundancy about 3 years ago now and I was having some much fun with the Digital Marketing Services I was doing, that I decided to leave EE Ltd and start my own company, so that I could follow my passion whilst helping other local business owners all over the world grow their business and smash their goals!
