When other people comment on how great your website looks, you just know you’re on to a winner! Cam totally exceeded my expectations with the design and build of my website.
The site he’s built for me is a ‘clean’ looking site, and fully responsive across all devices.
Yes a few tweaks were needed here and there, but that’s normal, and nothing was too much trouble. He communicated everything along the way so I was always kept in the loop with the progress of the site. He also designed my business card which required no revisions whatsoever. When someone is this good, you just know how in tune they are with the times, and how much confidence they have in their creative styles. I highly recommend working with Cam.

After Amazon let us down on delivering a new alternator for our 1969 Renault Estafette, I whipped off our original alternator and took it to SAC with our tale of woe, and requiring a working vehicle by the next day.
By luck, Simon was on the front desk and simply couldn’t have been more helpful during our predicament. Whilst also managing my expectations, I walked out confident that if it could be rectified, it would be and that’s all I could ask. True to his word, Simon rang me within an hour and explained the fault he’d discovered and would attempt to fix. Again, Simon rang within the time he said he would and informed me the alternator was ready for collection and the price was extremely reasonable!
It was brilliant to be able to walk into somewhere who took ownership of an issue and exuded confidence in their ability, even on a 50 year old vehicle! I was contacted when I was told I would be contacted, and treated brilliantly in every aspect.
SAC should be rightly proud of the service they gave me.

What makes a great website?
Usability, Functionality and Content are king.
USABILITY:
If your customers 'can't' use your website they 'won't use your website. The navigation needs to be simple, intuitive and accessible.
FUNCTIONALITY:
Your website needs to be built on a robust hosting platform which is fast and secure. It should take advantage of the latest technologies and be accessible across as many devices as possible.
CONTENT:
Above all the content must be relevant for your target market and information can be found easily and quickly.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The questions do change depending on the type of project but some I may ask are:
1/ Who are your target market, demographic or age range?
2/ Who are your competitors within the above?
3/ Have you got any design ideas in mind?
I have a simple questionnaires for both web site production and brand development that will help answer most questions.
Describe your creative process.
After the first introduction, I would then have a detailed conversation to ascertain the scope of the project and the specific details of what is required. If a defined objective can be shown at this stage, a fixed cost for the project can then be given. If though there are still specific details of the project to be identified a ballpark cost can be given. Once these costs are then agreed, if it is a web site project, an outline project specification will be written for sign off, or if it is a graphic design project, design visuals would then be submitted.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
I will always need an overview of the project and brief description of how the customer will use the final result. If it is a website; to sell, to distribute information, to attract new business, or if it is a brand/logo where is it going to appear; print, digital, shop front, embroidery etc.
What do you love most about your job?
I always get great satisfaction from producing a design, logo, brand or website that my clients really love.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always had a genuine passion for all things design related and it was always inevitable that I was going to end up in the business of design in some aspect.

Some designers just 'talk the talk' while I can 'walk the walk'. I have a no-nonsense approach to all aspects of design that deliver (and more often overdeliver) on my clients expectations. I won't blind you with baffle or wind you up with waffle but I will give you a design that delivers.
