I have just been and bought a vegan cupcake from here and I was so excited that I sat down on the bench outside and ate it there and then. The frosting was light and airy which you don't often get with a vegan cupcake and the cake it's self, you wouldn't know it was vegan if you weren't told so fluffy. Would highly recommend. More...

I popped in to ‘Cakes by Ruth’ shop where One Sweet Day are based just to buy some modelling paste for a cake that I was making. The lady who owns the shop couldn’t be more helpful. She explained that they can order cake toppers for you if you need them. She also explained about all the gluten free options as I mentioned that I was gluten free. I purchased some brownies for my son and his friends aged 12 for after school and they loved them. They were 3 very happy kids! Plus I got a gf one for me and oh my gosh heaven!! It was super yummy. I left it over night in the paper bag and it was still so fresh tasting and delicious. The lovely lady gave me a taster of their sticky toffee pudding (gf) which they supply to a local restaurant. It was AMAZING!!! I am considering going to the restaurant in the future now if they stock these mmmmm. I can’t recommend their gluten free selection enough. It’s not perfect as no shop could be really, but it’s better than 99% of places. It’s great to know a local place has yummy goodies for me to buy when I need them. Much much tastier than the supermarket crap and hand made with ❤️ love. So if you are gluten free or not go and buy some cake!! Just go! And tell your gluten free friends too!! More...

I ordered from One Sweet Day a couple times and I have meant to review them for quite a while! I've gotten almost all the wonderful flavours of brownies for my boyfriend and was able to get cupcakes for our anniversary as well. Not only were these treats "the best [my boyfriend's] ever had", but the service I received was absolutely phenomenal. Always quick to respond to any of my questions and concerns, but I must say I rarely had any. I needed a cake for my mams surprise baby shower which at this point was 2 weeks away. I had been looking at many cake places which did not have any vacancies and then I came across ‘One sweet day’ I had a look at its cakes and its reviews and I decided I should send a message and see if I could get a place. Woke up next morning to a reply saying ‘Yes of course they’re is space on 22nd July’ I was over moon! I sent a picture of the cake I had in mind.When I got the cake it was exactly what I wanted and it was amazing ! The cake was meant to feed 10 people however they’re was many slices left for family to take home and still many more left!
