One Belle just created my daughter’s dream wedding cake. Not only was it beautiful, every single layer was delicious! We were happy with our wedding cake experience with One Belle. The tasting experience was great and they were happy to work with us to build what worked for our tastes and event size. The watercolor painting was supposed to match our invitation which was gray/blue with subtle tints of pink, teal and purple. As you can see, they really leaned into the pink and purple more than I would have liked. So, be aware of the limitations associated with going this route and that color matching exactly may not be possible. My mom surprised us with a cake for our wedding day. We weren't planning on doing a cake at all. One Belle was able to create a cake LAST MINUTE so my mom could pull off this surprise. They recreated the childhood cake I always requested on my birthday.

We recently moved to Wilmington and were delighted to find a real bakery nearby. I have not seen a true bakery in years! Our first visit resulted in us leaving with an assortment of doughnuts, cookies, and eclairs, as we had company visiting that weekend. We also each chose a slice of cake to eat before we got home. (Yes, we ate them in the car) The goods there are entirely too tempting and I will say our guests quickly gobbled all we had purchased. We had a wonderful time working with the folks at One Belle Bakery! First, we sampled cake and donuts from the bakery and we were blown away with the assortment of flavors! ! I had shown a few pics of the naked cake idea I was thinking of and they totally nailed it! They were able to incorporate some live flowers from our florist and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The cake was fantastic but I almost think the donuts were an even bigger hit with our guests!! We used them as favors, so we included to go bags and three different flavors. The bakery was even kind enough to loan us the cake stand, as well as various stands for the donut display. They are so awesome!!! This place was hands down the most amazing bakery I've ever been in. From the sugary aroma to the intricate details in each of their desserts. Not to mention the cakes and the pastries were just as beautiful as they were delicious. The staff are so incredibly helpful and beyond talented. After my first visit I've stopped counting how many times I go in for a coffee or a sweet treat. I mean a party without cake is just a meeting. Let's start by saying I didn't plan to have a lot of cake at my wedding. I honestly wanted enough for me and my hubby to be. After going to a tasting at One Belle, I wanted all the cake. I went to a few other tastings before this one and it was more of cake slices and I had to smear the icing on. At OBB, they offered around eight 2x2 actual slices of cake. They were all delicious. We ended up going with amaretto and lemon and I'm so glad we opted for both. We also ended up with one three tier cake and two other smaller cakes. We had enough for the number we provided and enough to take our top layer home. Speaking of that top layer, we waited a year before slicing back into it and it was just as amazing as it was on our wedding day! We worked with Georgia for our tasting and planning and Anna and her team made it happen.Side note- you don't have to wait for a wedding or special occasion to enjoy One Belle. Stop by the shop daily for an assortment of cakes, sweets and cookies.
