On Target K 9 Training LLC

Mike and Jim are both United States Marine Corps Veterans. Both deployed multiple times serving our nation and it's people. The two learned from their service dogs they acquired after coming home and found out how much really goes into a well behaved, well mannered dog. These two dogs, Gunner and Cactus not only saved their lives but transformed them. Through all the training they went though as required for service dog teams, (Battle Buddies), they were put into real every day situations we all face where they had to adapt, improvise and overcome the obstacles through positive reward based training with their dogs. Their dogs are so well behaved people asked ,"Who trained your dog?" They were able to let them know that they were taught and guided by a great organization for veterans and they they trained their dogs themselves with that guidance. That is when people began to ask for help with their dogs. Mike and Jim both offered to help them out with anyway they could. It became so common and they loved working with dogs and their owners that they developed a business plan to do what they love to do then put it into action.

We are dedicated to helping you and your dog become the best you can be as a team and family often. On Target K9 wants you and your dog to have a solid relationship to include easy handling while building a bond of confidence in each other. Helping you the owner learn how a dog see things through body language at the same time teaching you how to communicate with that language to your dog. The biggest reason is that we just love dogs and happy owners.
