Stayed for the first time at On Cranberry Pond last week. The other reviews I read were spot on. Hosts Jeannine and Kenny have supplied every thing you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. Our room was spotless and comfortable and the inn was in a beautiful quiet setting. I called ahead to let Jeannine know my wife and I don't eat any processed sugar or flour and she graciously prepared the most scrumptious breakfast I've had in years: crustless vegetable quiche, fresh fruit and the best oatmeal I've ever had in my life! Thank you Jeannine and Kenny! More...

From the moment I met Jeannine I knew I picked the perfect place. She is warm, witty and just has that aura about her that makes you feel like you are at home while away from home. Her breakfasts are simply divine and between her and her husband Ken, the things you learn about the area and all there is to see and do, is local expertise well worth having for an area rich on American history. We stayed in The Cranberry Room which is on the main floor and has a deck overlooking the pond and cranberry bog. It was so peaceful to come back to each night and wake up to in the morning. Thank you so much Jeannine and Ken for your wonderful hospitality and sharing your slice of heaven. If we ever make another round in New England, we would most definitely stay again! More...

On our first visit to New England and a whirl-wind visit to Boston's historic sites we found a gem of a place to land. We had reserved our first B&B experience--with Jeannine and Kenny at ON CRANBERRY POND in Middleboro. Our suite was a new one with a wonderfully soft bed, a great shower with a rainfall-type shower head, towels to die for, a private kitchen which addressed every need, from a Keurig to a full sized refrigerator, and a cozy living room with a recliner chair and couch, a flat screen TV, and a cast iron gas stove. Top all of that off with an array of international guests, wonderful breakfasts and valuable guidance about local dining experiences, and most importantly, advice about the numerous and wonderful historic sites and 'tourist' destinations in the area. We have been to a lot of B&B's and I would rate this in the top 15% for the hospitatity, creative breakfasts and wonderful suite we had. Jeannine and Ken are very friendly and run a "tight ship". Jeannine is a very creative cook and we had wonderful breakfasts. Our suite had a living room with a wide screen HDTV and FIOS with tons of channels. The bed was very nice. The living room and bedroom were spacious and well appointed for comfort. The bathroom with a shower had an outer area with sink so two people could be using a sink at the same time. We ate breakfast one morning out on the porch which was really nice. The house is situated in cranberry bog country so it is located in a secluded and peaceful area. It is about twenty minutes to downtown Plymouth and is centrally located for trips to the Cape or Rhode Island. It is not far from Rte 495 and Rte 28 connected by the famous Middleboro rotary. This is a quiet comfortable place located beside a large flower strewn pond. My car got a great view of the pond as that’s where the parking is. My room was small but well equipped (though I really would have liked a sitting chair. ) Lots of Christian literature. The bed was a double with a soft mattress. The air conditioning unit was greatly appreciated and there was a fridge too, and a Keurig and decent TV. Bathroom towels were plentiful and thick. No soap, lotion etc — there were only soap and shampoo dispensers in the tub. Be aware the water here is VERY hard and it will take an extraordinary amount of time to rinse off soap.
