What do you love most about your job?

What inspired you to start your own business?
In 1981, still in high school, I had the dream of becoming a television news cameraman for a network tv organization. Back then of course there was no internet and cable-tv was in it's infancy, but I found ways to volunteer at TV news Live-shot locations like SFO during the PATCO strike to help crews set up and roll cable, etc.
Eight months of following them around led to a petition signed by on-air reporters and field crews when finally management offered me a job at $ 5 per hour- basically a gopher - and within 2 years they had me shooting live features and traffic from "Telecopier-4" It was one of the best experiences of my life. We covered all breaking news in the air and when on the ground covered two US Presidents, the Queen of England and met countless government officials and top name stars like Bob Hope, Sammy Davis Jr and Jerry Lewis all in a weeks time. I loved it and it helped me proceed in creating OnCameraPro.com

We work according to a budget simply because there is no end to what can be done if there is the will, hence the multi-million dollar film, but we are obviously in the business to provide affordable video work with experience and knowledge of our equipment and have the ability to add production options as needed and according to the pragmatic nature of the goals set by the client.
