I normally get the seafood udon however the past couple of times at the 34th Street location there was not any scallops in the dish and the 2 shrimp were tiny "salad" sized.

Taste is amazing! I have lunch meetings there often, dinner dates and now the outdoor porch is a great place to have happy hour drinks. The owner, Hung is a great person and gives back to the community. I took my sister there when she came to visit last year and now she asks to go back every time she comes up. Always fresh, tasty Asian dishes and Sushi. Lots of vegetarian choices. The Hot Pots are great, and a ton of food. If they're busy, it may take a while for your food to get out, but it's worth a wait.

I recommend F14 The spicy seafood with noodles. They also offer a small selection of tasty kids meals. There are boba drinks and also Asian beers available. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good pork belly ramen- lots of meat in addition to a decent portion of noodles. Bon bo hue was also tasty, and you can increase spice to taste. Would definitely come back again.

This is probably one of my favorite places to eat in Gainesville considering that I frequently order take out from here. I would say that this place has a variety of asian fusion meals with a focus in Vietnamese cuisine. I almost exclusively order the same dish every time I order take out, and this is the Taste Fried Rice with pork. If I want something lighter, but filling, I'll order the Banh Mi with beef. The food is pretty tasty and filling for the price (maybe average $8-$10 meals), and with the fried rice I'll typically have enough left over for a second meal. There's really no other place I would want to order fried rice or Banh Mis from in town for the price. The only thing I would advise is to take caution if you want to eat with a lot of friends inside the store. The restaurant itself is pretty small and it can fill up quickly if there's some sort of deal going on. That's why I typically just order takeout. More...

I will keep this simple , this is the best sushi restaurant in Gainesville. Taste is locally owned and it shows in the best possible way. Both of their locations are happy to accommodate your party as big or small as it may be. As a new dad I like to take my daughter out to eat just the two of us and as babies tend to do sometimes she needs her diaper changed mid meal and taste is one of the few places that has changing tables in both the women's and men's bathrooms.
