Stopped in for a grilled cheese, baby please. Had "the Newton." Beneath the golden brown, buttery, perfectly toasted sourdough, was a well proportioned layer of ooey gooey melted cheese, paired nicely with the apples and carmelized onions. I judge all my sandwhiches on the proportions, some are bad, like the ones my ex girlfriend used to make. So she was out. But this was layered by the sandwhich goddess, silly jilly; and every bite contained every ingredient. It was sexy. It made me feel things I havent felt since the summer of 03 when I felt alive. I love, love, love the cheese selection, gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, condiments, platters, etc. The best thing about this shop, however, is the staff. Everyone who works here knows the cheeses and loves their job! They can all recommend the perfect pairing for whatever I’m serving... and they also whip up the most delightful party trays! Made Mozzerella Cheese today for the first time. Rudy, the owner and teacher was terrific! Learned a lot, had fun and the cheese actually tasted good! Will definetly go to more classes.
