Great menu, service and ambiance. The server was knowledgeable enough to answer any questions we had as well as describe the specials. I was bummed they didn’t have the ribs in stock but was pleased with the NY strip I ordered. Found the place because of the Axxess card and will definitely go back. More...

Second dinner experience here within the last month or so, and both were great!  After seeing a lot of turnover in this location, it's nice to see that somebody finally got it right . .. reasonable prices, delicious food, nice ambiance (casual, but nice) great service and a good kids menu. We were happy to see that the restaurant and bar were both busy on a Saturday night.I had the rib eye special, which was great. My husband just had a Cobb salad, but said it was very good. The bread is too good ... next time they need to limit us to one basket! We will be back for sure, and plan on trying the curbside service for take-out the next time I don't feel like cooking (which will be very soon, lol). More...

Wife and I decided to try this place after discovering it on the Ventura County Axxess card. It's tucked away in a little shopping area in the Dos Vientos community so it can be a bit out of the way for most people. I think it was well worth the trip though. We came for an early dinner on a Tuesday and there was only one other couple there at the bar.  Decor inside was nice enough and they have a large patio. The atmosphere in there had just a very slight tinge of elegance but bordered more so on the relaxed. They have a kids menu and we saw a large family there with a few kids so we didn't feel weird at all bringing our 8 month old with us. We were seated in a booth which had a bit of staining on the seatback but nothing that grossed me out enough - they could definitely use a steam cleaning though.Started with a cider, a glass of Chardonnay and the calamari. The wine pour was generous for the price. The calamari had a pretty mild batter but the dipping sauce it came it was delightfully tangy. We asked for pappardelle to be substituted in lieu of the gnocchi in the short rib dish and our waiter happily obliged. The tender short rib was in this rich ragu which had a flavor I couldn't quite nail down - maybe tomatoey, winey, olive oily? We enjoyed it nonetheless. We also shared a pizza with assorted mushrooms, brie, arugula and trufle oil. The crust had a nice chew but had a nice char and crunch on the edges. There were huge slices of brie which my wife was not a big fan of (not me though - I love soft cheese).I think the only shortcoming would be there was only one waiter for the entire place (which had filled up some after 6pm). My wife and I have a high tolerance for this sort of thing but someone who expects to be waited hand and foot would sure have had something to complain about.Overall, my wife and I had a very nice dinner and are very inclined to come back (and bring some of our friends next time). This restaurant is hidden away in a lovely complex in Dos Vientos. It's easy to miss, but wow, gotta be one of the top five Newbury Park restaurants! We started with bruschetta and Mac and cheese as appetizers, and we're off to the races. Had the pappardelle pasta with prosciutto and mushrooms. Delicious! Spouse had the 12 grilled shrimp...they were large and delicious. Pizzas and hamburger were great, too. They bring bread to the table that's been rubbed with garlic and drizzled with EVOO.They have a full bar and the drinks were good, too. Large dining area, plus a few patio tables for the warm nights. We loved this place. It's worth trying to find. More...

The Bar was packed again! So many good friends and locals having a great time together. My wife and I started in the bar, had some appetizers and a drink (forget Happy Hour, have you seen their craft cocktail list! The best-mixed drinks in the Valley.), then made our way to the dining room for dinner. The beef filet was prepared perfectly and our Branzio must have been fresh from that day-- lemon sauce with capers is a must. Overall, service was a 5, food was a 5, company was a 5, the ambiance is a 4. I love seeing the place overflowing with people. A little advice to those on the weekend: come early, the bar fills up fast! More...

This is one amazing restaurant that I prefer over a lot. I am a picky eater so having this restaurant near me is really convenient. I order different verities of foods here because each dish is just simply divine. The only thing I am a little disappointed about is that if you sit outside, they don't have heaters. It's just a recommendation to the builders saying that in the next Local Table they need to add them, and then I will be perfectly satisfied with their amazing restaurant. More...

I’ve gone there before many times it’s been delicious. I’ve only gone once or twice when I haven’t enjoyed it but it was most likely the cook at that time. I love their orchetti pasta in cream sauce with mushrooms and peas. I usually ask for the vegis on the side and eat them separately, but I’ve also tried with the vegis in. It is delicious both ways. The pasta is a nice take on a Alfredo but much better in my opinion considering Alfredo is my favorite sauce. They also have delicious pizza. I tried the brisket and we were very disappointed along with the mashed potatoes and broccoli but it may have just been the chef that night as I have stated. Their truffle Mac n cheese is a hit or miss. Truffle is definitely an acquired taste. And it is made with truffle oil. I can’t remember if there is actual truffle in there you can go ahead and ask that yourself. But generally I am very pleased, but I have had a bad experience. Friday nights is when I say go for it, Friday through the weekend. That’s when the foodIs best because they have their best chefs cranking out lots of food. Though I did have a waiter that was very cocky especially when it came to wine and was saying a wine that is by no means earthy was earthy. And calling my mom wrong and acted like she was an idiot and knew nothing. Anyway he was very rude and disrespectful to us women, it was on a Wednesday. They have their worst servers work when it’s least busy considering they don’t serve lunch. Hope this helped More...

Proportions were huge, so we took the rest home for a second meal. Drinks, fresh bread are equally great. Can't say enough about this place. EVERY meal we've had there has been amazing. Glad to find this place with a decent bar and happy hour menu. The drive out here was beautiful even though it is off the beaten path. Walking into the restaurant the set up feels odd. The bar is hidden around the corner as it has nice granite counters and it's a dark rich wood. However the first thing greeting you is a display case and bottles of wine stacked in the reception area The waiting area leaves nothing to talk about. Stacked high chairs, random chairs, not very attractive. There is a lot of wasted space. It wasn't very busy. The food was good. I had the short ribs sliders and the beef tacos. More...
