What do you love most about your job?
My job is all about transforming my clients' lives. I have an amazing array of tools and experience that help me guide my clients on a journey to self-discovery that includes ancient shamanic practices of altered-states consciousness to help them dive deeper into their inner world than they ever imagined to guide them to what they're really passionate about, as well as cutting edge Integral and Developmental Psychology tools to meet them where they're at to help them understand not only why change happens, but how. At the end of our sessions together, they will have discovered what they want to do and they'll have a plan on how they're going to do it, all based on what's already inside of them, but just needs some gentle coaxing out with my compassionate and skillful help.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After years of running workshops for men and couples, directing non-profits, pastoral counselling and private coaching, teaching Spiral Dynamics and Integral Theory to my workshops, I've decided to integrate everything under one retirement umbrella called "Old Dog New Tricks." Again, in a nutshell, here's what I do:
"I support men in being compassionate badasses after they retire."
Why should our clients choose you?
I have skin in the game. I get it and what men go through when they retire. Men live an average of seven years fewer than women, suffer far more from ulcers and stress-related disease than women, and are more likely than women to die from the fifteen leading causes of death.
Over 80% of all suicides are committed by men. Statistics from the U.S. -based Center for Disease Control and Prevention show the highest increase in suicide is in men 50 and over, and over the age of 85, men are fourteen times as likely to commit suicide as women!
I don't want you or your loved one to become one of these tragic statistics.
