Old Country Bakery

This place is unique in so many ways. Firs of all, the quality, variety and deliciousness of their products and their prices. Classic French standbys like Opera and Eclair, along with other ethnic types of bakery goods. Amazing breads, though none were gluten free, but maybe someday...Then factor in the quality of the service from whoever is at the counter, always pleasant, kind and helpful. You might be lucky and get to chat with the baker, a thin and very approachable Russian man, I truly did not expect to find this gem of a bakery tucked away in the outer regions of Crossroads mall. Anyway, I was going to make a pit stop there right now to satisfy my sweet tooth, unfortunately they are closed on Sunday, Nothing else will do so I will wait until tomorrow. I live in Connecticut and needed to buy a cake for my son's birthday and have it delivered. I called MANY bakeries in Bellevue and not one would deliver. I'm so glad I found the Old Country Bakery. They no only delivered it, they also were happy to make the special flavor I requested and they sent me a photo of the finished cake. My son loved it! I ordered a cake for delivery. Nune was very helpful and nice to help me figure out the delivery option and was super quick. The delivery reached on time. Though this was a really last minute order and I was ordering for someone from out of state!
In fact thi was a same day delivery and she also on request put the Happy Anniversary on the cake since I was sending to someone! Will use it again if my friends stay in town :)
