Love this place!!! Great to go for a fun night out with a group. The whole concept of a drink which you play ping pong is great! You have fun and a workout which burns off the wine and you can deffo feel it in your legs the next day if you got into the game! The UV lighting is cool - wear white and you glow! More...

I do love coming to bounce for the ping pong. I play with my friend who used to play for the county. We have great games. It's fun not retrieving the balls and getting table service. But it's just so expensive. 1hr with 2 pints each was just shy of £60 tonight! However, we say this every time we go and we still go back. More...

Bounce is quite unique business, where customers enjoy a good game of ping-pong with their meal or drinks. I must admit, their vegan pizza is one of the best I have ever had. The flavours were simply superb. However, my only critique would be the lack of communication to customers. When on arrival, I was left to play ping-pong with friends without knowing it would cost us to play a game. Though it was fun, I was slightly annoyed that we weren't told we had to pay after 20 minutes in. However, don't let my critique stop you and head down to Bounce for a newer and modern concept of dining. More...

Plenty of tables to play Ping Pong on. I definitely recommend booking a table as it gets very busy. The tables are good with projected video for some interesting games you can play on them. There is also a bar which has a good range of drinks and an area for food. Definitely worth visiting with a few friends. More...

Attentive and friendly staff. Delicious, great serving and good beers. The restaurant is very cozy. Separate tables are also available.
If you want to eat very cheaply, McDonald's is a good choice. If you want more, do not eat in mediocrity because you can eat in the good places at almost the same prices. Such as. here!

Table tennis and drinking? Awesome! This is just plain fun, no point in being too serious about the games, half the fun comes from hitting the balls into other people's games - or just other people! Accidentally of course, otherwise it'd be pretty frowned upon. Great place to bring anyone to and just have some easygoing fun. More...

I've been here twice. Once as part if a large group from work and the second as a small group for a birthday party. The venue was great for both. Staff are friendly and drinks are reasonably priced. Really fun nights out, expect the unexpected as there are ping pong balls flying everywhere. More...

Good fun. Looked like it would be great for a group. They give you a big bucket of balls so no need to chase them around and there is also table service on drinks.

I love this place! It's been a staple party spot since I moved to London. The staff are really great, if you organise a party with one of their ping pong game masters you'll involve everyone in your group, not only the ones good at playing. The food is also pretty fantastic, though I'm always disappointed by the Blue Moon that is available as standard, even with a lovely looking orange slice (bring in some Camden Hells on tap!). Definitely a really great night out. More...

The place is great, there is loud commercial music playing, a huge bar where you can but all sorts of cocktails and beers.

The most important thing : you can play ping pong with your friends!!

The ambience is very similar to a regular night club, except you can play table tennis.

Very fun night out, a great place to go if you're competitive! Loved the contraptions for collecting the balls perpetually flying around- worth keeping an eye open for these as it's easy to get one in your drink (or face) if standing too close to some overzealous players!

We had our work Chrsitmas party here and it was fantastic. Reasonably priced especially for the area. The staff are polite and helpful. You can get them to organise a tournament or play casual. The atmosphere was brilliant so even though it was very busy it didn't feel over crowded. I would recommend this to any big group looking for an evenings entertainment. We went planning to leave after our time slot at 8pm and were there till close at 2am! More...

Many would have Bounce down as the best ping pong bar in London. Located just minutes from Old Street, it’s a cool and quirky underground venue where groups of up to 20 in size can hire tables for all the competitive socialising they could possibly want. Away from the table tennis action there’s a cocktail menu created by award-winning mixologists and a cracking pizza counter serving up all kinds of authentic Italian goods. More...

Best ping pong place in London. Packed during weekends, and week days during the winter, so book a table before going.
Equipment (paddles, ping pong balls, ...) nearly professional. They got some staff (ping pong gurus) to play and kinda teach as well (not sure if you need to book).
It's a bit pricy, but it's worthy it, especially with you want to go with many friends (4+)
Nice drinks as well!

It's called the home of Ping Pong for a reason. It's always great night out there. Very busy place though but service as whole is spotless. The place is amazing for Ping Pong and drinks, but not food.
I had a lot of fun with my friends, it is highly recommend for groups (Book first of course). The atmosphere, the music, the staff, the bar and the spaciousness were great. But I don't recommend the Chicken Anglais that I had which was not up to the expectation. Though it was elegantly presentable, fair quantity and well cooked, but it had a blunt and dull taste I felt it was not worth its price at all. More...

30 minutes is not enough. If you're coming here to play make sure you get an hour. Balls will be flying everywhere so if you're not into a little contact then don't bother coming! I love Charing Cross Sports Club. All the staff are warm and friendly, they go out of their way to help and there is always a great atmosphere the moment you arrive and see Monika's smile behind the reception desk. I really enjoy the swimming pool - 25 m. I think it is one of the best pools I have swum in - the water fresh and cool. What I love is that it's a place that feels like home - it's an individual club that knows its members and looks after them. More...

Very nice sports club with a gym and a swimming pool for a competitive London price. The downsides are: very limited number of wight training machines and equipment, e.g. no pullup bar, no calve press chair, only a single bicycle (particularly weird, since there are many ellipticals and treadmills). …for a Londoner? - the best pool in the world! Yes, this is what I say about Charing Cross Hospital Sports Club swimming pool each time I pass the reception desk after a swim.

If you ever dreamt of a private pool, feeling fed-up by the state of the local facilities, this is your pool! Yes, a very clean pool, quiet with friendly staff. Unlike in some other local pools, you will find no smell of urine, fungus or chemicals or noise, just the pleasant sound of swishing water. The cosy ladies changing room is clean and comfortable. The management look after the place very well and add items which improve comfort, such as hair dryers, plastic bags, grab rails or recently, new shower heads which make showering great. Hopefully an additional non slip mat will be placed on the approach to toilets to prevent slippage.

Doing back stroke you can enjoy a view through the glass wall of beautiful trees seen outside against the blue sky and planes passing overhead. You might think you are in Hawaii especially as the pool’s water temperature is lovely and you never get a shock when immersing yourself in the water.

An additional attraction at this pool on some afternoons is an opportunity to watch swimming lessons being given by a genius teacher Perry, Norman or John the British champion. Inadvertent observations of their lessons helped me to learn the front crawl!

The pool does not seem crowded; in fact it is possible at times to be in the pool alone. The atmosphere is very good and people can do exercises by the side holding onto the rim of the pool if they want to. There are plenty of foam accessories freely available which can add attraction to the exercise, but mainly people swim in lanes.

These are my personal impressions, technical details about the pool and timetables can be found on the web page :-)

Fantastic, changing facility was great showers are nice and hot with an adjustable temperature, and lockers are great, and there are lots of spaces inside to put ur stuff. Poll has a deep end (3.90 m) that is great and a shallow end. There is lots to do and there are even diving boards! great and nice pool, but there doesn't seem to be any lifeguards and there are no lane ropes so be aware of that. More...
