Hands down best pho this side of the equator. Sweet sticky broth and noodles cooked to al-dente perfection. Also the owner is a Boss. If you're not going to OI HANOI you're pho-king wasting your time. More...

Excellent service ! The owner is very friendly. There's no cross contamination between halal and non halal food. The food is reasonably priced, portion sizes are big, and tastes delicious! we had complimentary green tea in a pot twice, & extra stuff was thrown in with the leftover food for take away. More...

I found this place near my hotel. Simple Vietnamese food and friendly staff. The music was a bit loud, but they picked good music so I didn't mind :-)

Had to wait for 1hr but totally worth it. Beef Pho tasted quite authentic (Im from Hanoi). The manager (David) gave us free drink and prawn pancake as a compensation for the wait. Been here the 3rd time and will come back more often! Thanks David and all the staff! More...

Really tasty food. A tad expensive perhaps, given the no frills style of the place; but not too bad. Will go again

This is the best restaurant in the area. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. With every meal you get free fresh green tea, served in a beautiful pod. The portions are a good size, under 10 pounds.
There is no many restaurants in the area with vegan food, so if you happen to come for an exhibition in Whitechapel Gallery, this is is an amazing place for lunch/dinner.
I go there almost every Friday for late lunch. Thank you everyone in the restaurant for making OI HANOI a welcoming place for all customers.

Too to good. Street food is never about the location and all about the food. This place manages - once you get inside - to smash both. Truly awesome food from starter to dessert. Accompanied with great music and cracking booze. So understated you might miss it. I urge you not to. Easily worth 5 stars or more More...

I went into OI HANOI thinking it was a cheap take away due to its small premises and oh my, was I wrong! The food was incredible and well beyond my expectation.

I absolutely love Oi Hanoi! Prior to visiting I had never tried Vietnamese food before and I was curious to see what they had to offer. As a none meat eater I was very pleased to see they had a wide variety of fish/seafood and vegan options as this is sometimes difficult to come by. Since the first time I have ate here I have tried a range of their dishes and all are at an extremely great price in consideration to what you receive. It is clear that all the produce is fresh and extremely well sourced. I enjoy the healthiness of the food as well as its indulgent taste which is something that not often are found side by side. My favourite dish has got to be the salmon rice as the salmon is always superbly cooked and another thing to add is the portions are always huge here! The summer rolls (Goi Cuon) are amazing too and offer a healthy and in my opinion more delicious alternative to a regular sandwich you can pick up at any old place. The atmosphere is always upbeat and I am always greeted by friendly faces. The restaurant itself is slightly alternative and offers a relaxed and laid back atmosphere with options to eat upstairs or downstairs. Complimentary green tea too is a lovely plus. My boyfriend usually opts for the beef pho which he says is absolutely delicious, when I asked the staff they told us it was the most popular dish at Oi Hanoi and my boyfriend certainly raves about how good it is. We've tried the Hanoi Curry as well which is lovely and comes with either noodles or rice and has a lovely fragrant coconut base. I highly recommend giving this place a visit and I'm sure once you've been it will immedoately become your new favourite place to eat! Definitely the best Vietnamese cuisine I've tried and it offers something for everyone! More...
