We do not recommend the coffee shop at Chinworks. The Livewire cafe was a lot better with friendly service along with variety of food options.

I love this building, the old Doulton pottery factory. As a potter, what a treat to have a coffee amidst all that history.

It’s a good place to work. Quiet. For some might be too quiet as there are not many people around.

I had been renting with Workspace an office here for around 2 years. I would actively discourage anyone to rent an office here or with Workspace, due to the reasons I expose below, I've had many landlords in London in the past, none as cruel and greedy as workspace:1. The worst reason is that when you leave the office, you are REQUIRED to leave it as you found it, this means we spent 4 days sandpapering the floor as requested, we waxed it and we painted all the walls, we found ridiculous to have to do this, but still we didn't want any trouble. When the secretary came in to see it, she said to me that the colour of the wax was not the same one as before, she showed me the unit next to me, which floor was darker, but I had photos of my floor when we moved in, which was painted in a lighter tone, the same that we applied when we leaved, then her reason changed from "it is not the same colour" to "you didn't apply the same finishing". Well, the office has been used for 2 years, I can sandpaper it, paint it and clean it, but it won't be new, as it is not any more. It was clearly an excuse to take our deposit.2. To leave the office I had to give a 6 months notice.3. When you leave you have to get an "electricity certificate " which means that an electrician, paid by us, will check something that has nothing to do with us on the electricity, yet another unexpected expense in order to leave Workspace. This will cost us an extra £252.00.4. One day a contractor had to enter my unit, and I wouldn't be around, so I had to leave the key on reception. This was 5 months before my notice ended. The key wasn't given back to me, it was given back to me 1 month later after requesting it 3 times. This was a big inconvenience to me, because I had to wait to my business partner to arrive to the office every morning to be able to enter.5. During this 6 months notice period, the secretary was accessing my unit without informing me in advance, at least 3 times. This is against the law, and when I asked them to stop, they ignored my request.6. There are no microwaves in the common areas, if you want to warm your food, you need to have it in your own office. Plus there is no natural light in the corridors and they painted the walls very dark, which makes the building look depressing and dark/old.7. You will be bombarded with 2-3 emails per day regarding issues at the building, like for example, someone left a chair in another floor than yours or that the lifts are, again, not working (they have 2 lifts and they never work).8. You are forced to buy the internet with their contractor, their price is 75 pounds per month, which is quite abusive (we are a team of 2). Wifi goes very slow, so we needed to connect our computers with a cable, sometimes the wifi won't just work. Our printer could never be connected to the wireless wifi. You are not allowed to bring your own trusted wifi company.9. Workspace just wants your money and they will do whatever it is necessary to take your deposit. More...

Charles has been fantastic. Extremely easy to talk to and very professional.
Engaged proactively with council and in the end was chasing us.
Pushed through designs for planning and also quick to deliver technical drawings.
We would recommend him to our family.
