Offaly Pet Sitting is an excellent, professional and caring pet sitting service. Gemma called out to our house to arrange everything and meet our cats before we went away. She updated us on their welfare during our time away and left us a written note on our return. She played with them and gave them treats (she checks if this is ok), and looked after them so well. Gemma's approach is so professional and so caring. The service we received went far beyond our expectations and we have already booked Gemma for our next trip away. Gemma provides a great service. After our intial meeting me and my wife knew that the service was perfect for us and out pets needs. No stone is left unturned which is very reassuring. It's also much more than a pet sitting service, Gemma goes to great lengths to let you know how your pet is behaving and will give great advice on how to help you along. For our first time away from home we wanted to hire someone instead of calling a friend in to take time off work for us, and Gemma was the first person that came to mind after I'd seen this facebook page about 2 months ago. We had a brief meet up before hand to go over all the small details and were really happy and comfortable with her, she came across as super professional and really wanted to understand the roles she was taking on! I felt bad by bombarding her with a lot of information but she didn't seem phased at all by it, and looked forward to minding our two rabbits who can be a little bit of a handful at times! We got updates every night and even photos to see that the bunnies were in good form! I feel much more confident in the idea that we can go away on holiday and have our pets in good care! Have just had a meet and greet with Gemma and I have to say after meeting Gemma, any worries I had are completely gone. Such a professional lady with absolutely every detail/ scenario thought of. When we go away, the cats normally go to a cattery which really stresses them out. This Christmas we decided to use Gemma's pet sitting service to see how it would work out.
Safely say they won't be going back to the cattery any time soon. Gemma will visit once or twice a day depending on requirements and sends updates and pics which is a great reassurance that all is OK.
We arrived home to two chilled out cats who normally take a few days to settle in after the cattery.
Highly recommended.

I booked Gemma at Offaly pet sitting to look after my baby, Jessy on March 4th 2017. From the initial contact Gemma was professional in every aspect of the service she provides. She came out to my house to have a meet and greet with Jessy and from that moment I knew my dog would be in good hands. Gemma is a lovely lady, soft spoken and has a natural ability to interact with our furry friends. Anybody who knows me personally will be aware that I hold my dog in very high esteem and that very few people in this world would be entrusted with her care. I hereby, very highly recommend Gemma at Offaly pet sitting to not only look after your beloved pets but your home also. I will be availing of this service again when I am faced with all of the family having to leave the house at the same time as I am not comfortable with Jessy being home alone.
